Updated Permit List

For the Empire, there is now Marquis, Duke, Prince and King, in that order. The Feds now have Post Captain, Rear Admiral, Vice Admiral and Admiral respectively.

I managed to rank up to Post Captain myself, and unfortunately it did not grant me one of the four remaining federation permits in the list like you'd hope it might.

It appears that the Isinor permit is still bugged. I managed to get allied with the Chapter of Isinor, and even after about a dozen missions afterward, no permit missions show up. One difference I noticed while working the permit for Van Maanen's Star a few days ago, was that missions for the latter permit would show up in the list of unavailable missions you don't yet qualify for, but for the Isinor permit, I didn't see even one. So for the time being, it looks like the Chapter of Isinor still isn't issuing them.

One thing I did notice was that the Chapter of Isinor has expanded into Parsaka, and you can get missions from them there, although sadly the sole station in system still currently belongs to the Nobles of Parsaka.

But do any of these new ranks pertain to the new permits?

I guess I should have made myself more clear. What are the new rank requirements for all the Empire and Federation aligned system permits? Is there a good source?

Right, I now have 25 permits and am 99% sure thats them all, for the moment. Thought there would be more available like 4 sextanis, it is populated but none of the factions exist outside the home system, I can't see how to get a permit.

I thought I had 26 permits....Nowhere near my gaming PC to check though.

Hello!
I'm now Chief Petty Officer and received permits for Beta Hydri and Vega.
For previous Petty Officer - only Sol permit.

I just counted mine, I've got 25 too, but that doesn't include Shinrarta Dezhra. Eagle Eye posted:

So perhaps they have the full set.

ODDITIES:

51 ARIETIS - No permit required, but system description says it does. - Update - It appears this text anomaly has been fixed finally. =)

The description of 51 Arietis says it needs a system permit, in the info description box.

Can anyone confirm that no permit is required or is the text still bugged?

excuse me for asking a thicky type question, but what advantage do these permits have? i have 7 now and have been to a couple of the systems and they seem just like everywhere else and no difference to commodity prices and the equipment available to purchase ...

If an advantage is known, it will be listed under "benefits". I suspect that these permit systems will have a lot more relevance once Horizons is available to all.

Took a little while to get but the first 3 in the update list were working to get the permit. That was a couple of days ago though.

Hope that helps you Ben.

NASTROND
Faction: Defence Party of Nastrond
Rep Systems: Wonorne Nu, Daruwutja, Taribes

UPDATE:
Wonorne Nu now has a station controlled by the Defence Party of Nastrond

With this, now all the independent factions have a station controlled outside their system.
It means that all independent permits can be obtained by selling exploration data, no need to do any missions! Which is exactly what I did, and now I have all 26 permits.
It takes selling 5,3 mil CR of exploration data to reach allied and get the permit.
