What's arrogant and sickening is when people argue that rewards need to be removed from the game and replaced with an I-Win-Button. I understand that this is not actually her opinion but it's what the discussion was about and the position she had in it. I don't see anything wrong with pointing out how every attempt to continue the discussion will be fruitless and a waste of time because rewards are an essential part of the game and will not be replaced with free credits no matter how much people argue for it. That might sound arrogant but that's probably just because people aren't used to listen to an honest opinion anymore when everyone else is afraid or unwilling to show their actual agenda.

Well, you should know better than posting this here. Go to reddit, where the normal people are. Posting here is just asking for the "it's good enough for me" people... you know, the ones who didn't want fast and cheap ship transfer because sadism.

I somewhat disagree with your opinion - but that's irrelevant. If I totally agreed with it, I still wouldn't have liked that post of yours. I've read your posts for a long while now, and quite frankly, I'm surprised that you wrote such a thing, as it seems a bit out of character to me. Perhaps it was frustration, but you can be honest without being so horrible, surely?
And what do you mean by 'actual agenda'. It's a game. My aim is to have fun but at no one else's expense. I don't know what everyone else has as an 'agenda', but unless it's fake outrage or obsession with what others do, surely it won't be much different than mine.

Now they're getting fixed.
Check this out... your bank makes a mistake, and credits your account with 10,000 of whatever your local currency is, when it should have only been 1000.
They don't catch it for two years, then they take the 10,000 plus all the interest paid back, and leave you what you should have had.
Would you like Frontier to adjust your ranks and credit balances in the same manner? Because they could. So far they haven't done anything like that, but they could.

You should change it to:
Your bank makes 20 'mistakes' over 2-3 years, defends them often as 'working as intended' and only changes them when certain people complain (they ignored all my reports, which I didn't shout from the rooftops and I didn't fake outrage, so maybe that's why). The bank profits from the 'mistakes' (some are, some are 'working as intended', they said repeatedly), as it increases interest in a rather grindy game. Any shoddy mechanics are improved/covered over by third party apps, helping people know what to do and where to do it. It's a win-win.
Suddenly, the climate changes. Big time. We know the event that triggered that. This time, they even put in the patch notes they will facilitate the skimmer missions, yet they didn't think it through enough (allegedly) and this creates a gold rush, and the youtube videos and the holier-than-thou types get shouty who even call it a 'bug' when it clearly isn't as it was intentional (certainly not a bug compared to many things in the game which most people clearly know jack about), and now some/all the old types are saying they ground for ages so why doesn't everyone else, and anything above 5 Credits a decade is pretty much an I-Win button. Actually - all? Nope, because it's just a handful of 1 percent who bother posting here.
If FD go back through the scores of events that have overpaid, then they will need a large staff working 24/7 to do it even in a remotely even-handed way. Probably taking from the vast majority of commanders, as mode hopping is an exploit too now, isn't it?
Or they could just use the time to add content. What works best for you? I know what's sane and better.
In the past, FD would have come straight out and said the skimmer missions were 'working as intended'. I'm not saying they should. I'm saying there are two banks at work here - the bank before the Engineering exploits (ok straight up cheating), and the bank afterwards. They both seem to have two different policies.

I think its bogus all the people that get to keep the credits they earned with skimmer mission but i have to grind non stop just for rebuys while i work 12+ hrs a day irl but they get to enjoy the game and keep all them credits while the legit player base suffers i dont know if im gonna like this game kinda new still and the devs seem a little shady if this is the stuff they pull
Quite frankly, I find this post quite offensive and totally untrue. So what if those 'unemployed' people choose to play 24/7. All these 24/7 players are not all unemployed anyway! Many are retired. Some are unable to work. Some are fortunate enough to not need to work. Then there are those that work 2 maybe 3 jobs and are happy to wind down with a bit of space sim without worrying about how much money they can make per hour.
It is you stressing over the fact that you can't climb the ladder quick enough with huge paying missions or whatever that is turning this into a second job for yourself. Relax and play the flipping game! Or don't!

We did NOTHING WRONG. Reversing a ship to make them spawn again was planned. IT WAS IN THE PATCH NOTES.
IT WASN'T A BUG. Maybe Frontier didn't think it through. Ok I'm down with that. I've made money off casino promotions because someone didn't do their maths. I've kept the money. The company reasoned the same thing - not a bug.
You can't take credits off people FOR AN INTENDED FEATURE.
