Sorry again, guys, but again can't help throwing some tin-foil roll in here... (just to keep us entertained ;) )
So, again, let's not forget the MB's Prison Break-like map of...
The Road to The Myth

Any thoughts about 5,6,7,12,17,18,19,20 ?
The rest is pretty... obvious.

Doesn't it look like there are locks of hair on either side of the gate and the two stars?

Darnit Scytale, you get me every time with those Latkes pictures...Now I'm starving, and my Jewish Mum (Best friends mum) is too far away to get me my home made fix! You're putting me in a state of withdrawl and it's not nice!!!! :D :D :D <3

Another thought....Maybe we need to start looking for a black hole that sings? Find a black hole that emits some form of "sound" to analyze? it's a stretch, but would line up with the "siren of the deepest void". Can't get cmdr Guru's post out of my head, regarding Maia's BH. If still taking that line literally instead of following the Lyre theory, maybe take an audio sample from the new FSS scanner?

If anyone found raxxla, you think they'd keep it a secret from the rest of us, to keep the hunt going and laugh at whatever absurd theories we have on this thread?

Grabbing more tinfoil.

It's a nice idea about FSS spectrum sounds.
Personally, most siren-like sounds are emitted by diffrent gas giants.
I know those sounds were taken from reallife data, but it doesnt mean devs didn't tamper with it.

As for finding and not telling - don't think so. Though it is possible, depending on what Raxxla really is. If it's just some surface based ruins, or a derelict Megaship with some log-files, one could've not even bothered with telling anyone.
If it is something huge - don't think it could be hidden if found by anyone.

I'll records those and put them through spectrum analyzer. And i'll try to do the same with some BH and Neutron in Formadine rift (in case i find one there, closest BH was in H&S Nebula).
Speaking of, I've had some of these odd hyperspace jumps recently, all in a fairly contained bit of space... coincidence?

Looks like a gateway to me!

Happens some times. To me it looks like a visual bug, but who knows.

Just a thought, but Siren of the deepest void could be a UA or UP.....

Anyone tried bringing one to formidine rift?
Where woud it point from there?

They have been brought to every corner of the galaxy. FRift, Sag A, Beagle point, Conflux and Hawkins Gap.

They always point to Merope.

I also think the toast of TDW predates UAs and UPs with quite a bit.

The UA and UP do however have a distortion field around them, that is similar to what we see when we enter/exit hyperspace/supercruise. This could indicate that they hover on the edge of frame shift?

I have really no idea what 8 is. I have trouble seeing which parts belongs to which creature.

I think the entire bottom section is som kind of Tartarus, as the victims there are all angels(fallen). This is in contrast to section 4, where the inhabitants are regular people. This would then be Hades/Hell.

If so, the 8 might be the Typhoon.

Going back to the old adage of "a player has jumped through but didn't investigate", and basing it on the assumption that A) they honked the system and B) cashed in that honk:

Is there a way to search EDSM for a list of all systems that have only ever had one player go through them with a basic system scan? That might help narrow the field somewhat...

EDSM is filled by players that upload data.
So if that person didn't use any tools that uploads data - it might be not on EDSM at all.

Actually we have no info on when that toast was written, it has no links to any timeframe.
As far as tinfoily ideas goes - that Artice as a whole could be secretly written by TRDW (the real dark wheel) member in such puzzling way, that on the one hand - it goes through with approval by anyone who censored the articles before submitting, but still giving clues to someone with eyes to see.
In which case that toast might have been written like a couple of months ago ingame time.

Could be, but it does not sound like it's news. It's presented more like a rumor that is well known, but never confirmed.

By the way, there used to be a constellation in the southern sky, called Siren.

The four stars on her head(next to Crux), is possibly the Diamond Cross asterism. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diamond_Cross

The diamond shape with a cross is used on the gate in MBs tattoo.

The Siren would have been placed on the edge of the Coalsack nebula.

A bit obscure, even for this thread.

Quite possibly that's the one.

Great work. Obscure maybe but who knows.

On my way back to bubble, I'll swing past there and rescan that area. Coalsac was one of my first trips - back in the day and I seem to recall there's a few stars in there as opposed to other dark sectors. Always meant to return there and map it properly but never did.

Loving all this tin foil, it provides so many reasons to head out and explore.

May I ask a my noobish question? It is good mystery, so I started to read this topic. Was there some investigation of the picture from DW Codex title? I mean that star, planet and part of station. May be someone checked sizes and proportions for star and planet? Star class? Distances?

If it is old picture, sorry. I think people still looking for the true DW station as a trail to Raxxla.

Speaking of all the sirens, I've been thinking. Was there anyone who did any research into the sound of witchspace? I know that majority of time (if not all the time) it sounds pretty much the same, but what if (grab more tinfoil) we get a bunch of witchspace sound recordings from all across the bubble / galaxy and overlap them? Maybe there's something noticeable in there? Process of elimination.
If Raxxla is supposed to be this big gateway, portal or whatever to some new land, could it be that it leaves an effect or a ripple in witchspace?
