No, they're actually more common than single stars IRL
They call it lensing. The star light is refracting/bending through the black hole.
Black holes in game, you can fly up close to them and see through them.
I think those two are the cluster of planets in the system. Those were the ones I was looking at at one point. What is odd is that if seen in the correct location it or another similar set of stars show up as a perfect sqaure while in the blackhole area. This only occured while close to the black whole but not looking directly through the black hole. I tried to line it up to look through the black hole directly. But I ended up either loosing site of the sqaure of stars or it stopped looking like a square and went back to that two planet pattern... I still don't now what it was.

Did you see another set of inner system stars like that that form a square? I'm still not sure what I was looking at for certain. But it was potentially odd.

These are of Andromeda and of the LMC. It magnifies them, sure, but the images are blurry and don't really help me in any way...

I didn't think to use camera mode. I think camera mode may have different factors to it. I don't think you can see the andromeda galaxy in normal cockpit mode. It seems to be a part of a different layer. If the camera mode fixes that that would be convenient. Not to mention the ability to fly around with your view to make it easier to locate objects. I always forget that mode exists.
I'll go back to maia later and try to find the quad star setup. I should have taken a screenshot the first time. 8)
I see it while driving to the B lack hole. I think.
Right to the left of the screen above the heatsinks. Unless this is a different star pattern they stick out more in the black hole region. Almost like it's emphasizing them.
Hard to say, I keep finding more quad stars. I swore I saw some that were sticking out more than others in the black hole area.
Does anyone know of a black hole more aligned with those nebula heading towards the bernard nebula. I'm trying to find one that has them aligned like a planetary alignment. I want to see if it does anything odd. 8)
On another odd note. Has anyone tried getting right up to a wormhole then using the galaxy map to find a system on the other side and warp to it while physically against the black holes exclusion zone? Maybe in the right circumstances we could actually use a blackhole to warp somehow. I wonder if you could line up with that hip 13044 system or something odd like that or get to places you couldn't normally. Maybe while in a cobra of some sort. ><

I would just like to mention Plato's 'Myth of Er'. It's a story of a guy that dies and is sent to the afterlife, but he wakes up again and is able to tell his story.

Her daughters, the Fates spins the spindle and on each rim there is a singing Siren.
The spindle represents the classical heavens, with earth at the senter and the planets, Luna, the Sun and the stars placed on different orbs.
The planets and stars are described as jewels set in orbs. Unfortunately the outer rim contains all the stars, so this doesn't limit the search area much.

On page 322, CMDR GURU explains his groups findings, and so far I think they're the best source of Raxxla info thus far.
Everything has an incredible link to Greek mythology, including the Thargoid interceptors - named Cyclops, Basilisk, Medusa and Hydra, respectively. I think this is enough proof to say that the Thargoids and Raxxla are intertwined.
We also know that the only member of the Dark Wheel that we've heard of since 1984 is the former senator Kahina Tijani Loren, may she rest in peace. She was known to have stolen meta-alloys from Darnielle's Progress - forty something, if I remember correctly? Why would the Dark Wheel need meta-alloys?
Anyways, as I write this, I sit in my newly built Imperial Courier, the Seven Veils, with a pair of meta-alloys in my hold outside of a Thargoid surface site. Unsure of what to do from here on out, but I'll keep looking.

Ananke and a bunch of other goddesses would qualify. Most gods from common ancient religions have a system named after them.
I have no idea what would be the jewel(star or planet) on her brow.

Ok, I'm new here, but I have a theory which I cant see many people discussing.....
I think there is a good chance that The Dark Wheel in Shinrata are fake. Not least because they operate in the open, but also because lots of people have allied with them and found nothing. If this is true, then the lore and rumours imply that you need the "real" dark wheel's help to find Raxxla. The real dark wheel only accept a few exceptional commanders from each generation and it is pointless trying to find them.... they have to approach you.... Initially in disguise. I believe there are only a few hundred triple elite commanders. Perhaps when 3xelite cmdrs get a random 50k credit job pop up, whilst in-flight, from a random fraction they have never heard of, they dismiss it out of hand, when in fact it's a dark wheel test mission?
Any thoughts?

Btw: Tried the hyperspace cocoon theory on the black hole at Maia. (As expected) You cannot fire FSD Interruptors at the black hole, but Beam Lasers and Multicannons at the pirates lurking there. Which I did.

I pulled the recent systems list from https://eddb.io/api , dumped it into SQL, but it doesn't contain the moon info.
The main bodies says it's no longer available, so I never went further trying to script a list from the database info.
i'm on DW2, and actively searching gas giants + 8 moons, but nothing so far
