Possible Raxxla Lead : Milky Way Hexagon

Am i drunk or it looks like the milky way?
And with these letters i just thought: maybe there is "something" to find in some galactic regions and then by doing some maths with the six places it makes some cube (six coordinates like in stargate to get a coordinate) and the point is where raxxla is.
Or, the point is sol (or another system?) and we have to find the six others places.

My understanding of the mystery is that it is not that far away from Sol and is either inside the bubble or not far outside of it. I've heard Orion being mooted as a potential spot to search with all the permit locked systems, though there is a path through which I had to take on my back from my Orion expedition some years back in my humble T-6.

Maybe there is something in the logo being a map clue, but if so I would be scaling it down to a more localized area of the galaxy.

Looks like the prow of the Red Dwarf if you ask me.

Maybe it's the Felines...

Sure. Drew explained very well in his video everything we do know about it

Which is great, really...except none of that is really in game to be experienced. For a rookie to Elite, Raxxla is a codex entry with hardly any meaningful context and - worse - absolutely nothing to interact with in the game.

That said, Elite as a whole lacks interactable lore. Aside from CGs...there are no story elements in the game to interact with. I'm not an advocate of mission campaigns for 'you, the hero' a la any other RPG...that wouldn't fit Elite. You're a commander, nobody too special besides your license, and that's about it.

That said, the lack of interactable story is appalling. There was a brief, shining moment with the early Thargoid and Guardian content.
(Most of which is so heavily concealed to require 3rd party outside programs to decipher)

Elite has so much potential for story...and I cannot, for the life of me, understand why FDev doesn't leverage it for actual, playable, enjoyable and meaningful, content.

If Raxxla existed, it would have been data mined long ago IMO.

It's a game, not RL, everything need to exist in a file otherwise it would be an empty system like any other. So, maybe Raxxla is an empty system like any other ?

Sorry to break the 4th wall.

What do they do to the dog ?

Say it again.
Unless Raxxla only loads onto a player PC when they enter the system. An then is remove when they exit the system.

Ok ok... I got a much cooler theory: Raxxla is in a system that got lately locked with a permit just to avoid that people realize it's just another bugged place holder.
Ok maybe that's not cooler than OP theory but it's probably the most realistic one.

Well, you wouldn't be the first to come up with that theory (or the last). It's just as good as any other theory.

Did anyone check his morning cereals pattern ? They to float in milk, Milky Way like.

Oh yes, sure, let's download a few hundreds Mo upon entering. Poor internet ? Well, suck to be you :D
And then you have the install the assets on the fly, because why not.

AKA, did my game crashed ? Because that's what it'd look like for the user. Loading would take some time, or a while for slow connection. And you'd be stuck in the "hyperspace loading screen" for a while.

The quest for finding Raxxla for me is over.

After years since release, with the gargantuan Quest to find Raxxla thread, nobody is any nearer (that we know of) to finding or knowing anything out about Raxxla. Even with the 'tiny bit obvious' clues that were given to us, which makes me feel even more of an idiot for not even getting that.

At first I enjoyed it. Then it just got demoralising - admittedly, after about 4 years. Which I think is long enough in a game to even get to the start of a trail. From there I lurked and followed the above mentioned thread.

Yet here we are. Still talking about it, still nowhere. Hats off to the folk that keep the thread going though, I hope they crack it at some point, I just don't have any steam left for it.

So yeah, for me, it's a fruitless, cruel in-game test to see how many hours you can burn.

Personally I think in order to find Raxxla you've got to have done 150'000 Tip-Off missions, then the last one will just be a "Tip-Off: Raxxla is here [coords]" message.

That's another interesting theory too. You'd think there would have been someone out there who's done enough of the tip off missions though?

But yeah, FD haven't made it easy to find but I'm certain that's intentional. I did enjoy watching Drew's video about it recently as he knows and understands a lot of the history and significance.

Well considering we have no clue what Raxxla is and what the assets are for it, you have no clue how big the download would be.
