The standard becoming more of 64bit 16gig gaming rigs, just fyi. You look at most recent titles like the witcher etc, each one bares a similar stance on min and max settings. My system while old still plays all game I have introduced to it within the last few months with only occasional hickups or adjustments needed. I say in another year I need to upgrade. If you are around this , you should be good, going below might be an issue for you at this point. I see my system at the line of needing an upgrade. Been gaming for 30+ years (in my 40's now) So just pointing this out that all these years, I am usually pretty much on the mark. So far so good, hope this helps some of you...

And yes, even with an I5 I can run stuff like the witcher with no issues, just need a good combo of hardware. Good things to note as well is AMD sucks, sorry fans of AMD but your clocking is no were near efficient as intel, it's a back and forth war with those two manufactures, it's just like NVidia cards, still top dog when it comes price vs value vs usability, no doubt this will change in the coming years but for now, this remains true. My biggest advice, NEVER go cheap on computer hardware, you will ALWAYS regret it. When I bought this system it cost me around 2,500-3,000, but my new notebook cost me 3k, so alas it all depends how u shop, but if you buy a new rig say every 6 years, 3 / 6 = 200.00 a year is not a bad investment. Save up, that's what I do
Did have to replace my power supply last year sadly, it happens, but before this I was on an 850, now up to 860, sadly power supplies are now the most expensive part of a good rig.
PS. Also btw, SSD drives are amazing things, I really held off getting one, got one this year, I run my OS on it and about 20 games and when I need room, I transfer back to my 2 tera drive. It is amazing how fast games like League of Legends and the Witcher load, just amazingly quick. Day and night if you ask me , not to mention your OS bootup. Totally worth it now, prices are descent. So good luck to you all! Finally btw for those in the know of the gaming scene, my system runs Xcom2 flawlessly and sadly (From what I read) many have issue with that game, Happy to say no issues with this rig build.
