I have same issue((( i'm try play on linux with this client, after that dxvk for me unplayable. I'm fully reinstall game client. But Horizons run perfectly.Hello, trying to launch the game with vulkan is triggering the watchdog and the game doesn't open, any help?
Huh?I'm considering an AMD GPU. Where do you get the older drivers? I took a cursory look at AMD's website and only see the latest (22.10.2)
OoofI still need the entire workaround.
Game crashes to desktop immediately upon "preparing planet shaders" if I run it without PermitNativeDoubles set to 'false'.
Additionally, instead of showing the transparent teal overlay without disabling the problematic shader, the game just freezes on planet surfaces.
For me, this is the least functional driver for Odyssey yet, by default.
<TerrainSettings PermitFmaOptimizations="true" PermitNativeDoubles="true" PreferNativeDoubles="false" />
Installed 22.10.3; set appconfig.xml settings back to:
Deleted GPUWorkTable.xml and regenerated both sets of shaders then opened game - approached landable planet and landed.Code:<TerrainSettings PermitFmaOptimizations="true" PermitNativeDoubles="true" PreferNativeDoubles="false" />
Not on the non-atmospheric planet that I landed on. I'll go to one with a tenuous atmosphere and revert back.Is it still blue on foot?

Sorry about the stupid question but how do I clear the shader cache and where can I find the GPUWorkTable.xml file?
I skimmed through both threads (this one and the non-pinned by morbad) but I couldn’t find this info.
