Any teamwork driven CMDRs in Valheim?

Thanks for the suggestion. Doesn't look like her thing though.
Creatures from the dark? Hostile environment? Big guns? Horrible monsters? Psychosis? With an extra of medicine gameplay - you gotta pick the right treatment.
There is also a traitor mode (try with larger groups) - you know Among Us, right? It's kinda like Impostor, but they get a more complex objective.

I started a new map and have now spent a few hours with Hearth and Home, using an existing character, pretty well skilled and equipped. However I promised myself that I wouldn't swap maps to resupply or repair.

And, I'm enjoying the experience. I've ignored all the YouTubes and other reviews and allowed the new content to come to me 'organically' and as a surprise (as best I can).

I'm about 40 game-days in now, and have a nicely equipped main base. Overall nothing huge has changed but there's enough to keep me interested and exploring, and what has changed took a little while to adjust to, but all's now well. I've only been to Meadows and Dark Forest so far, and haven't got a boat yet (I'm ignoring the raft!), so there's plenty still to go.

Overall, I'm a pretty happy viking.

Can you spoil some of the adjustments to us?

Well, the most obvious one to me is how stamina/health/food has 'changed'.

Particularly stamina caught me out to start with but, once I'd got my head around it all, it is more or less the same but done a bit differently. Arguable it's more nuanced. Otherwise, it's just a bit different. There are certainly more foods to be cooked and raw (ahem!) materials to gather.

Certainly none are show-stoppers. ymmv.

Elsewhere it seems to me that there are more raw-materials around and that greys attack at night far more often. There has also been a minor increase in the variety of building pieces which is nice but not revolutionary.

I'm only just into the mountain biome, but haven't explored enough to have an opinion.

So I revisited and I don't think much has changed. Some new food recipes. That's pretty much it. Some stagger and health rework I haven't noticed. I heard mentions of a stagger bar. Multiple times. It is supposed to be UI element. I didn't notice, but I feel the UI is kinda cluttered anyway. The font seems to have become really small.
Didn't find any onions.
After fuzzing around at my base and learning the ropes again I went to the mountain camp I had set up before taking a break. I still have to explore the biome and no idea where to find silver. But you gotta get there first somehow and I put basecamp at cliffside. A narrow path winding upwards was identified and hewn and hoed into the rock, at the snow perimeter I pickeaxed the rest until I met unmineable stone. This would repeat a few times. In the end I built a "ladder to heaven" and it kinda was a pain. I managed to reach the peak region where you can walk again but big pains. Killed my first golem on the way and the dragonettes were super annoying on the tiny ladder. Gotta find a better path next time, this took just too long with almost no return. On top I found fairly lot of obsidian and a camp to fast travel again.

To find silver you need to wear the wishbone you get from defeating Bonemass.

I thought the stagger bar was associated with blocking. I certainly see a bar appear when I block with my shield.

Parry you need to time. For Block just hold up the shield, preferably facing the mob :). I think the idea is that the bar shows how far you are away from being staggered or dead.

Seems it is a little more complex than I thought.

I thought block was ruled by stamina. depkete it and no block, but that is maybe old version. But intuitive, no idea what stagger bar represents.

Yeah I know but the tiny mountain on my island didn't set off wishbone and I just made it to top on this one. Wishbone chirped once at my native mountain but it was just treasure at its foot.

Only small 1 mountain on your home island? Ooof.

That's why you should use the seed NotAScam - makes a very nice island!

Gather your materials and make a new world. You can jump back and forth between worlds carrying stuff over.

You can check out the map for your seed (or try out seeds) with this site: https://valheim-map.world/
I know. I took this one because it had decent swamps. I had really bad luck with getting iron. Now it's silver - I probably stop bothering soon anyway. Don't see much new stuff to play around with and Satisfactory has been updated too.
