Good to know your still patching the game, but I have an issue on my high end pc, when I'm flying near planets, station, other players in supercruise, I'm getting lag rubber banding ,It's spoiling the game experience for me and I'm disapointed I've spent my money on this game when its not running smoothly. Please can you fix this problem.
My pc specs : amd fx8350 core processor - msi gtx970 card - 2tb barracuda harddrive - 250 ssd - sabertooth 990 r2 motherboard -broadband internet connection.

still missing "fixed game completely ignoring throttle settings and taking control away from the player and also being in full denial of the laws of gravity".

I wonder if they are going to fix the smoke that becomes detached from the dashboard. I hope not, because I like playing with it in between scooping and jumping.

Actually that happens with smoke in the hangar and solar flares as well. On an Oculus Rift this is most apparent: When you tilt your head sideways, smoke and solar flares will stay parallel with your head.

Also ticketed, also no reply for weeks.

There is no bug related to throttle that I am aware of, could you be more specific?

I also don't get the gravity thing.

Michael,
Can you define for me the difference between minor and major updates are as I see these terms used by the devs often?
.
Does it relate to time interval, version number (i.e. 1.04 to 1.05 is minor. 1.1 or 2.0 is major) or is it to do with the degree of change?

then u obviously never travelled any further in frameshift than 10000ls...how bout you try to travel 160.000 LS
to a twin star and see how you get Auto-BRAKED by flying full throttle TOWARDS a gravity source when reaching 50% of the distance. ROFL. And its always 50% of the long range distance ..AUTO BRAKE. Its annoying , its lame, its unrealistic and it SUCKS. Also you get braked by suns that u want to pass by in a huge distance on your flank, in a 10-90 degree angle to your ship...you not get pulled to them...no you get braked...that is . It negates EVERYTHING about astrophysics. You cant slingshot accelerate, you cant use gravitation to your advantage in travel. ETc. I understand the desire to not have people crash into stellar bodies all the time...but A) thats what we have a emergency distance for B) The current system is IDIOCY.

The patch has broken my client now it just crashed on black screen loading, was playing until the release game files Validation reports no errors.

Looks like I'm going to be downloading the client again on slow Australia internet FUN!

Ok got it working just ran the training did auto hardware detection then relog'd and it started working again.

It will become clearer in this week's dev update which will be posted very soon.

Is this for you or for Commanders? I'm one of those with a ticket because a station blew me up as soon as I was undocked from the landing pad so wondering if this is some kind of admission that there is an issue and I might actually get my ship back...
Just want to let you know. My friend undocked the other day and almost blew up, had only 14% hull left while all modules are 100% health. It did have some awkward movement (slight but abrupt movement) just after undocking. My guess is that it has something to do with the station rotation, positioning & collision detection. Hope that extra telemetry help them identify it.

Look at previous development.

  • Alpha 1
  • Alpha 2
  • Alpha 3
  • Alpha 4/Premium Beta
  • P Beta 2
  • Beta 1
  • Beta 2
  • Beta 3
  • Gamma 1
  • Gamma 2

All of these are major builds.

All the x.0x builds contain minor patches where people really shouldn't expect new features or content unless minor ones or things done server side.

EDIT:

Or just wait for Michels upcoming post as mentioned above.
