then u obviously never travelled any further in frameshift than 10000ls...how bout you try to travel 160.000 LS
to a twin star and see how you get Auto-BRAKED by flying full throttle TOWARDS a gravity source when reaching 50% of the distance. ROFL.

That's just the game gradually slowing you down so you don't overshoot your destination at the speed you are currently travelling.

I'm planning on seeing us trade our ships in for the new discounted price after having previously paid full price for them at Jameson Memorial (expect to lose 8 mill more than normal on my T9 when I upgrade).
That way I can only be pleasantly surprised :D

But there is no point as you will lose 10% on the trade in and gain 10% discount on rebuying, not counting the trade in on expensive modules you will lose also. Personally I think if FD are not refunding the discount to those of us who have already paid full price on an advertised discounted price and so have been cheated out of millions of credits by the faulty discount, as MB said there are no plans to refund it, shows along with a number of other switches they have operated that their reputation is pretty crap.
I love the game and will keep playing but I will certainly lavish no praise on those like M.B. who seem to think it is okay to cheat players out of credits.

Like has been said in the past it is their game and they are making it their way, and I suppose if that means players get cheated by their faulty system that's okay as far as they are concerned. But it does show a total disregard for those who laid their cash out on a wing and a prayer in the original KS, so they really shouldn't expect any loyalty from the player base.

Just want to let you know. My friend undocked the other day and almost blew up, had only 14% hull left while all modules are 100% health. It did have some awkward movement (slight but abrupt movement) just after undocking. My guess is that it has something to do with the station rotation, positioning & collision detection. Hope that extra telemetry help them identify it.

That's the plan.

I would like to know, if players who bought a Ship there recently and made a Ticket afterwards because they dont got the discount, can now expect a refund for the missing credits. It would be really nice if Frontier would do that :)

I filed the ticket 16 days ago, but no response. I filed the ticket because the ship merchant was obviously trying to trick people into buying his ships by falsely advertising a cheaper price than what we have to pay. I know it cost me millions in lost income as I had to get a cobra too, and use that to trade slowly up to be able to afford insurance and modules.

I traveled to Hutton Orbital once, but didn't encounter any bugs. I think the auto brake helps you to not overshoot your target, traveling with 1600C takes quite a while to slow down. Also gravity has not the effect on FSD one would expect, there are several threads about it and you should ask the lore geeks, they can give you are more specific answer.

Well I was unaware of this possible bug, but I recently paid a 400 bounty, was not wanted, left the station and travelled maybe 4-5km out slowly, while alt tabbing to check a route, and was blown up somehow. so possibly not station rotation limited, unless it jumped into me like they used to shift sometimes in gamma?

Oh well such is life in the gaming world. FD obviously has issues they deem important to resolve even though many of us don't have a clue what they are talking about. Thus when issues like fixing the landing pad lights/numbers blinking out which we as players do understand are not resolved then there are concerns. Here's a FD pick the right answer list:

1. We are aware of the landing pad issue.
2. We are aware of the landing pad issue but other issues are more important.
3. We are aware of the landing pad issue but don't know how to fix it yet.
4. We are aware of the landing pad issue and know how to fix it but other updates may break it again.
5. The landing pad issue is not a bug, but a feature!

Best to All

I wish FD would communicate what bugs they're working on so we know we're being heard. It's the silence that kills...

At least one of their devs was kind enough to say she was working on the issue with accidentally shooting the cops. Very much appreciate that.

What about all the other bugs that have been open for many weeks? Can we have a status page about

- known issues
- issues under investigation
- issues needing telemetry or input
- issues being fixed right now (fix expected to be released next patch)
- etc

The landing pad hologram disappearing bug is something that will be fixed in the next major update.

MIchael

I was seeing a potentially related issue last night after upgrading to a type 6 and sometimes being denied docking at an outpost that already had an NPC docked.
After watching and waiting for the NPC to launch, I noted that the landing pad doesn't immediately realign itself for a landing.
If you request docking permission it will be granted, but you cannot land as the platform is incorrect and no holograms or landing guide appears. Cancelling docking then allows the pad to recess and spin to the correct orientation. A 2nd landing request then activates hologram/landing guide and you can land on the pad. I'm wondering if landing pads might be waiting too long after a ship departs before resetting.
But anyway, asking twice for docking permission is a work-around if anyone else has the same issue happen to them.

Will they be a fix for jumping into wakes from SC? Sometimes its easy but most of the time you have to be flying at 0 speed in sc to get in a wake. Bit of game breaker when you cannot help your friends when they have interdicted.

The devs HAVE given feedback on these things actually.

What you are really asking for is to have all of the neatly summarized somewhere and yes, that would be a good idea.

I would say that's Edwards job! ;):D

are you saying that they should postpone the release of "minor fixes" until they've resolved at least some "major problem" ?

Gee, should they fix things that 5 out of 300,000 are experiencing, or huge things that 299,995 are experiencing, like comms not working? Bounties not counting if you cargo scan while you K-Scan? The balance of income for trading versus every other profession? Ships disappearing during interdiction? Ships not appearing in your instance after interdiction? Did I mention comms not working?

TL;DR - Yes.

Is this for you or for Commanders? I'm one of those with a ticket because a station blew me up as soon as I was undocked from the landing pad so wondering if this is some kind of admission that there is an issue and I might actually get my ship back...

They're adding code that helps them debug what is causing the problem. It's not a fix yet; it's helping them get information so they can fix it.

Also any news on matchmaking issue? where you cannot see your friends even when they are in same system or station. If your friends with someone is same system the matchmaking mechanic should put you on same server so you can see each other. Again another game breaker when you cannot see your friends.

Thanks for the updates!

Does this fix the issue where you hunt pirates, and after you killed a few, an NPC shows up (branching the mission) but resets all your kills back to 0?
