So I just lost 5mil to replace my Beluga today because the cops decided to turn on me over a 200CR assault bounty that I randomly gained (Don't ask why I was bounty hunting in a Beluga). I've had the exact same thing happen before in Keelback. Granted, of the hundreds of bounty vouchers I've earned and all of the friendly fire I've dealt, I've only had issues with becoming mysteriously wanted while using Turrets and NPC crew. Now before a bunch of folks say to watch my aim, believe me when I say that I do and I give the game the benefit of the doubt; Sometimes we make mistakes and don't notice. But I ever since that first incident, I've been pretty picky about my aim and where it hits. So this last time, I've been left pretty confused and decided to see what the cause could be for myself. I checked my Player journal and saw that the cops never gave me a warning message like they usually do for friendly fire, so that was odd (I wasn't targeting or facing any security ships and my hardpoints were retracted). I submitted a bug report and a support ticket, and then decided to do some research. Apparently interactions with Internal System Security have buggy/unpleasant for quite a while. I've fallen victim to a couple of these:

Turrets Not When Fighting Police:

No Buffer/Warning for Friendly Fire:

Random Wanted Status:

Police Ramming Innocents:

I'm not trying to beat up the Devs, but there are a few questions that I want explicitly answered before I decide to go bounty hunting again:
1. If an Internal Security Ship rams you and takes damage, will you gain wanted status?
2. Can friendly fire given from your ship gain you wanted status?
EDIT: I mean from turrets firing at my hostile target when a friendly ship passes in front of them.

3. Can friendly fire from a ship controlled by NPC crew gain you wanted status?

I like the game, but I've about had it with bugs ruining the gameplay and causing rebuys. I'm also kind of miffed with the way bug reporting has been. It seems like you get ignored unless you streamed and recorded the incident, but I never record mundane tasks.I expect that if something happens in the game, the Devs should be able to pull up a record for it on their end.

In the mean time, I might go back to my iEagle and grind up 5mil of credits again, but I'm really considering waiting for all these bugs to stop. Seems like every time I get into Elite, my enthusiasm is slapped down by bugs.

It's the new norm by FDev. Everything Rams first,, questions later. Even worse, they go out of their way [NPCs] especially in HazRez, to fly into you, onto you, and even sit in front of you while you're firing. I had a FAS ram me at full speed last night from the side while I was engaged with a Python. In that session I ended up with 15-20 red NPCs on me. Easy credits.

Just got my very own 240cr assault bounty in a res site with 6+ security around me. Almost got smoked. Got the Python out thanks to DD5, solid shields and an SCB. They really shouldn't all attack you immediately, especially when they still have targets with much higher bounties in their sights. Priorities.

1. I think so, if they blow up... They are not wanted, and you destroyed them. This is a bug, the NPCs aren't (I don't think) supposed to ram you every time they try to scan you.

2. Absolutely. Friendly fire is not a bug (and there are forgiveness thresholds), but you will become wanted if you do enough damage to a clean ship. It's a 200 credit bounty, (assuming you don't destroy the ship), and it expires in 8 minutes. If you are aware that you committed a friendly fire accident, get out of the system, wait until the bounty expires (8 minutes), then jump back in and carry on massacring.

3. Not 100% sure, but I suspect so. I don't use SLF's, so will let others chime in on this definitively.
