Someone mentioned Laser Squad...

I'm currently working on a remake for Android. I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules by posting a link to my development journal. It's early in development, but it's going better then I've expected :)

Hired Guns should be remade. It was probably the first multiplayer FPS out afaik. It was also the first that I recall having multiple levels in each arena area instead of almost all flat like Dungeon Master and the Eye of the Beholder series.

I really would like to see remakes of Day of the Tentacle, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Loom and Grim Fandango. Those games were the absolute best.

Hired guns was a very good game, I played it many manys hours :)

I've always wondered what Avalon would look like in a modern remake. One of my most favourite games ever.

Took me many years to complete, and still extremely enjoyable now!

Stunt Car Racer & Midwinter would both get my vote.


(I would actually love a scenario where some ice worlds in ED had some midwinter type skiing sections)

ohh and smugglers run, I would love a new one of those.

I suppose the nearest thing to a modern Stunt Car Racer would be the Trackmania series.

I've often thought that The Chaos Engine would work well as a co-op shooter (a bit like Left 4 Dead, but with Victorians)

What we really need though, is a multi-million pound, cutting edge remake of Jet Set Willy. I want to really believe that fire extinguishers and teacups can fly! :D

Thinking about it, I'd like a remake of daggerfall, the elder scrolls series has gone in a different direction now, smaller and more hand crafted. But meanwhile we have reached the point where procedural generation could do a remake justice.

'hunter' and 'midwinter/II' for the amiga. suppose they've kind of been redone with 'just cause' but i want something a bit more serious with the whole open world thing.

hired guns

powermonger(preferred it to populous)

mercenary/damocles

descent/2/3 (hoping elite may include some crazy asteroid interiors)
