I haven't checked to see if any of the other systems posted in the competition have been reported, but they all have ELWs; someone might be able to harvest a few more ELWs for the list out of it, and from the earlier threads calling for submissions and narrowing down the vote.
Funny you should say that: just recently, I've come across a very hospitable blue planet around a solitary L dwarf. Everything would check out, except the temperature happens to be 258 K. Grr. I briefly entertained the thought of slamming my ship to the planet and pushing it retrograde (the good old Kerbal way), but alas, it was not to be.At least a few have been submitted - I entered, and I made sure mine were also added to the list . And that cursed competition also led to the discovery of Droju IG-M a103-0 which is the first - and so far only - recorded ELW around a sole L-class (it, too, is in the list). I can't even count how many Ls I've scanned looking for one. IT'S DRIVING ME SLIGHTLY CRAZY. Grr. Closest I've come is binary terraformable water worlds. The hunt goes on... hmph.
@ Sapyx: Thanks! For your information, I decided not to put in all those ELW-s back then as they haven't been submitted to the list, and I was too lazy to ask everybody there if they minded.
I can't even count how many Ls I've scanned looking for one. IT'S DRIVING ME SLIGHTLY CRAZY. Grr. Closest I've come is binary terraformable water worlds. The hunt goes on... hmph.
But I do need to ask a question- I tend to find around 30% of my ELW's orbiting K stars and on the way to Beagle Point I found roughly the same percentage. Then 2.2 dropped and so it seemed did ELW's orbiting K stars.Since then I've travelled over 65K and found 30+ ELWs but only two around K stars-and one of those was a trinary of 2 K stars and an L star.I also dropped M and Brown Dwarfs from the plotting route so would have expected more K star finds but no avail.
Perhaps it just bad luck but the ratio of ELW's around K stars has definitely gone down for me and was wondering if anyone else has found this too?

Oh, and a bit of trivia for thadius856: you mentioned the main star as the "arrival star", but that's not always true. You arrive at the most massive star in a system, but in a few cases, in real systems this might not be the first star. There's a system near the bubble, Lalande 25224, which is notable for having a neutron star as star B and you arrive at it.

Yep, it's the star type that's shown on the galaxy map.Neat!
I suppose I should clarify. The "Main" star listed is on the spreadsheet is the one that the galaxy map route filter applies to, right? The question was about filtering (or, at least I thought it was?) so I was sort of answering towards that.
As for Leif_Erikson and thadius856: it's a quite tricky question. Your coming across less ELW-s around class K stars is probably due to simple statistical clumping, or luck of the draw: for example, in the past, hm, two weeks, most of the Earth-likes I've come across were around class K stars.
Alternatively, it might be the region(s) you're going through. There isn't enough data (yet?) to prove or disprove it, but it's suspected that in some regions, the less luminous stars (like G, K) / mass code C systems have better chances of Earth-likes than they do elsewhere. But looking into this would require extensive surveys of sectors in different regions of the galaxy.
I took the far spiral arm from Beagle Point and did notice a clumping of ELWs around the Eock Prau Nebula 5K above and 10K below yielded me most of my finds.Above and below that ELW finds were very sparse indeed. It was A and G class stars that I had the most finds there too with the reliable F stars relegated to third place-most unusual.
thadius856- This is also the reason I omit M class stars from the route plotter-too samey and yielding few rewards. However an ELW find on a single M star is (almost) worth the tedium!

Note MCC 822's proximity to Sol. I triple checked to be sure it wasn't inhabited and on the list, but something still feels off that there's an uncataloged ELW with an unpopulated system this close by.
Did it used to be populated? Was it aliens?!!?
- Previous colonization efforts have been attempted and failed, perhaps because of particularly pernicious native lifeforms that resist all efforts at eradication.
