No - it looks like there was an issue with the Dukes going into civil war, but not against anyone - so it immediately failed and you're in cooldown for civil war.

Michael

Interesting. Maybe that explains Elemental's post earlier where he mentions he's only seen two factions both at "Civil War Critical" - while we only had one faction with the Critical suffix. Hope this gets resolved within the next few days*. Glad to us players didn't screw it up.

Success! We found another bug! That is the point of the experiment, after all.

*We know you've been busting your hump over the 1.1 release

I think it could go back to when we boomed. We had boom critical civil war critical and expansion under pending. Then we got the boom but mikunn still said civil war critical while hr didn't have it. The Dukes had different pending under mikunn and hr which i thinck shouldn't happen.

Give everything - get nothing. This incident is not good at all for our group :/

Hopefully this is considered a bug and will be taken care of ... not gonna submit a ticket as the ticketing systems seems from my point of view useless.

I got tickets still as "new" and those are from 9/1/2015

We still need tickets as that's how the bugs are tracked and then fixed.

I'm reading it as a bug. I can't imagine a faction going to Civil War with nobody is a game design mechanic.

Haha! At this point I do not know anymore.

And by the way, I said it in our group thread. And I know the Mercs can handle themselves, but for any other visitors:

One of the purposes of the Mercs Of Mikunn group is to help hash out bugs. I know it can still be upsetting, but rather than bashing, I want to remind everyone we are looking for constructive criticism if you feel parts of the game aren't up to your standards.

Michael Brookes is again taking the time out of his day to address issues here, and its a privilege I hope everyone would like to keep.

Edit: Ok its a bug. Thanks Michael!

As someone said in another thread, it seems the black box is a little too black. It's hard to believe that after all the work that's been put in here, that one station in HR hasn't been flipped.

I'd loved to have helped but it seems like pushing an immovable object at the moment.

Also, if there's an answer to this one it'd be appreciated:

Apologies if an answer has been given for this one.

Does blowing up faction ships (clean or otherwise) and authority ships have an effect on the factions when you do it outside of bulletin board missions?
Along the same lines, does blockading a faction's station (thoretically reducing the amount of trade it does) also help influence change?

Two way only.

Michael

is this bug fixed in 1.1 ? that might explain something in pand to, glad to see that at least the mikunn experiment is still going. How soon can we expect these bugs to be fixed and its interesting that youre still finding all these bugs, i thought the civil war 2 way thing was fixed. Well hopefully in 1.11 it might be fixed, t sounds like the black box really does need to be looked at once 1.1 is out and the devs need to perhaps run simulations on the black box to make sure its all working.

So, for how many months do you expect large groups of player to have to work together in order to flip one insignificant, backwater system?

its only insigificant if no one is there but with at least 200 regular or semi regular players using mikunn as a base id say in terms of forum numbers or the player base it is statistically insignificant for a backwater system. But yes if the devs cant fix these bugs much quicker than this and theyuve had 12-24 months to make sure everything was programmed and working proplerly, it just indicates we are still in a beta phase compared to programs that actually work fully and properly at launch.

I feel like "war" would be more appropriate over "civil war" in this case, but thats me nitpicking.

Ollo, you are incorrect about us having an insignificant number of players pushing.

So, if the current state of the Civil War is a bug does that mean we can get it reverted?

Having to wait almost a whole month before we can try again would not be very fair or satisfying.
