My Block list is longer than yours.

Don't get me wrong; I believe in the power of blocking. If you're a Nixon to me in game, you're gone, at minimum for the rest of my play session. Just, use appropriate metrics to determine who to block and who not.

That's the "subjective" blocking... OP is using "objective" metrics.

Not considering that an unarmed ramOrca can still ruin his day when docking at Station XYZ 🤦‍♂️ >>> block all players flying Orca nearby starports.

The thing about frag mambas and the like is...

I have one. It's fun.

I've never once used it against another player.

I bust it out for "assassinate politician" missions.

Turns out that the things we think of as "gank builds" are very very good at assassination missions. Who'd have thought?

...not most, but at least some of "gank builds" are also very good at avoiding to be kaboomed by other gankers 👈
If the ganker isn't in the wing and isn't cheating, he's within the rules of the game.
Ganker links and cheaters do not give any chance to the player.

Because they would actually have to fight on equal terms and most of them dont have a clue about real PvP
I tend to disagree with this as to the reason for it (PVP PG) not being popular. I suspect that there would be few weak trader/miner/explorer builds in the group, negating the means for their enjoyable gameplay.

Not saying it's a good mechanic. Just curious to see if anyone has mine beat.
165 Commanders Blocked.

PM me if you want the unblurred versions ;)

You beat me, I only have about 75% of this. Mine's huge because I used to do a lot of multi-crew, hopping into other people's ships. Because Frontier don't understand basic multiplayer features like lobbies, sometimes you'd get into a situation where someone in an Adder would be AFK a few thousand light seconds from anywhere for hours on end, but they'd left "looking for crew" toggled on, so you'd be paired with them over and over. The only way to not be paired with that person would be to block them - then you'd be automatically paired with the second person in the queue instead. I'd spend 2-3 hours multicrewing and usually block about 4-10 people in that time.

If you go back in my post history you know I don't like ganking. I'm a peaceful easy going player. Yet you would block me if you encountered me in the wild just because of my build. I run a frag mamba on occasion, overcharged, drag munitions, all that jazz. Because it is fun to fly and efficient to farm NPC bounties with, and in a team or even solo it is hilarious in a CZ. I love it, and basically flying through a small NPC ship like an eagle with just one or two trigger pulls is just hilarious. I would never point that gun at a human player, yet you would block me.

Think about that.
Well any player can block any other player at any time for any reason, including none at all.
I prefer to have a consistent policy towards the measure but I don't write the rules.

Grom bombs too?

I've actually never encountered a ram orca. A few suicideys, but no ram orcas.

A few years ago I made a suggestion that on the insurance screen there would be an option to blacklist an enemy, as an option you could add people to the blacklist only there.
