Hanger/pad 7 is a medium pad so a lot of people will get salty if the Panther Clipper is a medium.
A medium pad Gutamaya would be quite popular.

Actually I think this is a medium ship. It could be the Puma Clipper

I have many issues with the Diamondback Explorer and I hope that if we are going to finally get a large dedicated exploration ship, then it's not one of those.

Yup. It's just concept art for now, not like it's actual in-game footage. (Otherwise we'd accidentally be killing lots of welders on takeoff...)

More possible than a DBXXL, imo, as that would be another Lakon, and we already have a new Lakon. Saud Kruger or Zorgon Peterson should be next, and ZGP fits for Panther. If so, it'll be the most anticipated and longest time coming ships in the whole game. We've had concept art for the thing since 2014 or even earlier.

But 2 haulers out of just 4 new ships?

I am hearing multiple reports from ECM that Zac has said it is not a variant. It is a new ship.

Whether it's new new, or new to ED new, we shall have to wait and see.

I really hope it's a Large Exploration ship with good cockpit views.

A large exploration ship would be a bold move - given that any exploration with Exobiology greatly favours small ships.
