Warning: absolutely ZERO science follows -
There's more to this - but the short version is that I've tried a couple of things a found 'a thing' that 'may' make a difference.
Having seen one of my cores getting hammered (last core) during super cruise when NPCs spawned, I decided to try an experiment in reducing the cores using CPU affinity in some vain fantasy effort to force rebalancing of the work. I have a hex core system and I set the elite dangerous 32 exe to have affinity with cores 0,2 and 4. I then set Rift and Voice Attack to have affinity with 1,3 and 5.
I still got judder but it felt more like the judder I was getting pre 1.3. Light and manageable - not killer.
I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has tried this and, if so, what the results have been.
