POWER GRID CONTEST INCOMING!

Hey Guys,

Just checking in to give you a quick heads up.
We are going to be setting up and running another Power-Grid contest this week.

This is another big thank you to your community for creating grids and supporting power-grid. It will be much like the last one which was a huge success, except the focus will be on Plug In grids this time.

We'll also be running a contest on the Star Citizen forums as well this time around.

I'm putting a video together now which will explain all the rules and what not. We'll push this through our social media channels, that way we can send more power-gridders to the community here and hopefully end up with even more grids

I'll of course make a thread to answer any questions regarding the the contest and to announce it in here as well.

Really excited to see what you guys come up with since we had a huge surge of uploads last time. I'll be keeping a close on this and the contest thread in case you guys need any help.

Hello, my power grid app keeps loosing connection to the host server on my iPhone6 very frequently. Is there a fix or suggestion to resolve this issue ?

Hmmmm sounds like it could be a Wifi connection issue. Check your Phones connection to wifi and your PC's. Make sure your phone isn't trying to connect to another network if you have more than one Wifi access point in your house.

Personally, this icon design is the most beautiful and really fit with the game graphic style.

I would like to have a set of icons and macro that I can personalize my own grid, like change heatsink with swap weapon's group for example.

Also some macro don't works for me. I have to check if it is my setup that creates this discrepancies.

But thumbs up for this work

We are still waiting on Plug in Grids for the Power-Grid contest for the Elite Dangerous side of the competition. So we are extending the deadline till the 23rd of June to get your grids in. I know some of you have been getting a little stuck, I've been doing my best to answer any queries but your best is to either post in the power-grid forums or PM Addihash.

As you can see when you browse the forums Addihash has been offering a whole bunch of support for grid creators. You can find the Power-Grid forums here: http://power-grid-forum.roccat.org/

Get stuck in and you could be the proud owner of a 5.1 gaming headset and a multicolor gaming keyboard! :D

Heres the link if anybody wants to try it. I tried to keep to the elite aesthetic and i think it works.
There are also toggle buttons aswell but it wont allow me to save the grid as a plug-in, quite irritating!

Are you trying to export the Plug-In grid with the Power-Grid launcher?

This won't work. You need to follow the instructions of the tutorial.

You have to zip your assets and then rename the file extension .rpgp

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but i have just re-installed power grid, and i had previously bought 3 extra slots, and even just bought a fourth, but none are showing up in the program, neither on my pc or on my android tablet, any idea's how to fix this.

This may seem like a stupid question, but I can not figure out how to get it to recognize my joystick functions when trying to create a macro. Start recording and hit the button on my stick and the macro does not record? I must be missing something pretty basic, but no clue.

I've done a nice one with a bunch of generaly handy bits up top and gui controls +extras on the bottom with a spare swipe spot on one side - still trying to iron out some niggles though - main one being maxthrust - with on my keyboard setup is good ol' holding down shift. this is for thrust not throttle setting, would be handy as a runlock / toggle key for fps titles, but will powergrid let you tap a control once to hold a key down till you tap it again?

someone please point out where it is. that "hold/repeat" option's meaningless cos it does nothing that i can see - not with left shift anyways...

am i gonna have to go wire it to a joy2key script?

pretty sure this is a really basic feature easily found in other such widgets....did i miss something?

You will have to modify it for your own use 'coz my binds are different ;p

In the past your excellent tool, thread has been added to EDCodex. Before EDCodex was released on the 17th of August you have received in the period 5th - 10th of August a PM with an invitation and a special link. After registering and logging in you would automatically become owner of your entry. According to the admin tool(s) you haven't used the special link (yet). Perhaps you have missed the PM or have been (temporarily) away from ED. Its also possible you choose not to claim your entry. Note: Its also possible to assign another commander editing rights for your entry. In either case please send us a PM. You can find your EDCodex entry here.

Alternative way to get ownership
The special link will cease to function in the (near) future, for security reasons. Should you after that point want to become owner of your entry you can use the "Claim ownership" button. In that case please send biobob or myself a PM with the email addressed you used for registration - for verification. You can also use this procedure if you no longer have the PM.

What is EDCodex:
Its a website with a database of currently approx 215+ tools,threads,websites,videos for ED. Any one can and is encouraged to add entries there. EDCodex is and should be community-driven. EDCodex companion thread. Its equally suited for PC's, tablets and smartphones and has RSS feeds.
