Well, with any luck, the Thargoids have binned their weekly planner and are rolling dice instead.mmmmmmmmmmm
MMMMMMMMMMMMM
Well.... You mean thargoids strike galnet article, which was released in 2 days AFTER(!!!!) moment, when we have cleared incursions?
Now there another trouble, thargoids striked for one week and retreat again?
Sorry, Stephen, but you didn't clarify anything
Greetings Commanders,
We have noticed some confusion around the most recent Thargoid Incursions and when they were suppose to appear. Typically (but not always), Eagle Eyes will alert players to potential Thargoid Incursion targets, warning commanders of a potential incoming threat. These signals follow Thargoid movements, and attempt to decipher where the Thargoids will strike next. In most cases, these attacks usually happen one week after new Eagle Eye signals appear. However, as we saw in Monday's GalNet article, sometimes these attacks can come as a surprise and not always in a week's time.
We hope that clarifies any confusion around the most recent Incursions. Good luck, and keep up the fight against these encroachers!

What confuses me the most, is Commanders are burning through wave after wave of Thargoid ships, we've even taken some land off of them, but they haven't run out of ships yet. If this happened to humanity, we wouldn't be able to recover, but they can. I get it's for 'gameplay' reasons, but it still seems silly.
They grow on trees, we have to build ours
I believe they are womanned. You still have to man those ships, and yes, Thargoid ships are manned.

Are we assigning species-specific gender to Thargoids now? Or does "being-ed" work?I believe they are womanned.
Those ships we destroy are basically nothing for the Thargoids, they don't even care. As a millions of years old species, they probably have some toys that we can't even imagine. What confuses me the most, is Commanders are burning through wave after wave of Thargoid ships, we've even taken some land off of them, but they haven't run out of ships yet. More AX CZ opportunities please, but bearing in mind, AX combat and Station rescue seems to be much more popular than repairing stations.
Balance.
Perhaps dangling a bigger carrot for repairing stations.
As far as Lore is concerned, I do wish that something had appeared in Galnet saying that the Thargoids had adapted and that the Eagle Eye Network wasn't as reliable as it was.
As far as Gameplay is concerned, excellent move. This kind of random incursion is good because the AXI/HIVE are too good at stopping the thargoids at infestation stage.
Its not the size of the carrot its having to drag it to and from the station twenty to thirty times per required material even in a 700 cargo capacity cutter, one damaged station is a huge task even for a PMF. A solo player would probably need months unless they really did some grinding.
You go from exciting dog fighting against the evil tharguloptic menace to bravely pulling the refugee's out of a burning station to repetitive delivery of umpteen loads of the same old poop from and to the same old places, which frankly is less fun for non-space truckers.
Lower the amounts needed a bit.
