Just got my Krait and as I was going to visit Farseer found my first NHSS threat 4. So seems like Thargoids are finally there!
Also Thargoid sympathizers. I think I'll go play PG this afternoon, not quite feeling like PVP.

I gave it one more try this morning and started finding nhss all over the place. A few of them were 6 level but I didn't try jumping into any of them as today was the first time I fought a Thargoid. I just went into a couple 4 level ones and one 5 level. On a side note the payout for fighting them is crap. I spent 130,000 cr on repairs and additional cr on restock, but I only earned 100,000 cr in combat bonds. Plus on top of that I didn't receive the full amount. I missed how much I actually got one the first run, but the second run I earned 40,000 cr but was only given 37,000 cr. Is this normal?
I did see a few level 6 unss last night, and the two times I went into one they were pirates. One was immediately hostile, the other was a group of 5 small to mid-sized fighters escorting a T6 that I would have went after had I been in my 'conda instead of my T10.

Definately thargoids in Deciat now. Saw one NHSS (6 or 7) on the way to Farseer. I wasn't looking for any on purpose, this one happened to spawn in front of me.
Probably a Cyclops. It's what I see at the damaged science vessel in the system as well. Either way, those ships are a good way to get Cyclops if that's what you are aiming for.
Edit: Looks like it switched over to rescue ships in the area of these megaships now I guess. /shrug
Also I've seen nothing but scouts in the USS so I'm gonna bring my Vulture over.

Can I guess the you have a fighter pilot contracted (active or otherwise)? Your contracted pilot takes a share of everything. Right. Off. The. Top. So, ED is finally showing us that in an off hand manner.
For mine, it is 10%. So, if I earn 100,000, I actually get to keep 90,000. The other 10,000 goes to miss elite fighty-pants, whether or not she is with me at the time.

Systems near targets are known to get NHSS. I thought it was 5 ly, though Xinca is nearly 6.
Medusa can also be found at Mega ships as can be seen here. I've killed a few bugs but I've spent most of my time in a posse looking for that bug lover Truffle Shuffle , don't care if I get killed, got the creds and while he's dodging my friends and I those better at slaying bugs are free to do so...
