Thargoid Attacks: Where, When and What you can do about it

Yeah good luck with CE Bootis :D I guess everyone prioritizes not losing any more stations. But HIP 23395 was looking promising when I left there.

Celaeno and Atlas are pretty busy. Op - Ida is tracking the kills via its Discord. Yet they are always crawling with dozens of NHSS’.

From Operation Ida’s Discord. They’ll check EE after tomorrow’s tick and I’ll also switch to Atlas if EE updates.

And 15 new starports attacked :

though apparently previously on-fire starports are now in repair. ~12k eligible starports, so we have another 1000 weeks of attacks even at this new rate of attack until the bubble is gone.

So we had less than a day to defend the 6 new systems, revealed yesterday? And there were really no NHSS? Sorry FDev but that's a crappy gameplay [down]

So - the incursions came from Infestations that started:

1) Yesterday
2) Last Thargsday
3) The Thargsday before

Lack of an Infested state on the galmap is killing us - lots of effort put into trying to avoid Incursions this week where the missing Infested state meant we couldn't tell if they were successful. They were not :(

Edit: Judumlia wasn't attacked, but was in EE yesterday... maybe next week?

Plus there were no NHSS reported in the new target systems. There were simply no way to defend those. FD just do whatever they want, our progress does not matter. Sad.

Is this becoming cumulative? How will be knowing what to prioritise if there are 12, 15, 20 systems under attack? (and where the hell are the Thargoids getting so many ships?!)

I was, am, want to, get back involved but I've no idea where to head now :/

Good morning Cmdr Factabulous, thank you for your good work. So, am I right that it would be the best to fight Thargs in the infested systems first - as indicated by EEs - and by this to keep the incursions where they are right now and to fight them afterwards?

Up to you, but you have the same issue Op IDA had last week - how do you know when you can move on? The Infested state is missing from the Galmap so you can kill Thargoids all week without knowing if you have done enough.

I thought that even without seeing the infestation state, Atlas and Celaeno were safe, with so many kills i watched being reported.

Without FD solving some problems this will be a losing effort. There arent that many AX pilots, nor repairing haulers... Maybe its working as intended? Who knows?...
