Hi CMDRs,
I was at Sagittarius A* before the beginning of the August Exodus. So I've decided to join it, even if I'm not starting from the bubble.
I've chosen to reach the station by the most direct itinerary, that is to say a distance of 11k LY. This itinerary is likely to be chosen by many from the future new bubble to reach Sagittarius A*. However there is an exploration hazard at around 3k LY from the black hole : a big pocket of unscoopable stars. Explorers are likely to encounter 4 unscoopable stars in a row in this area.
- Here are the coords : -2740:-25:23.920
- The name of a system right in the middle of the pocket :ZUNOAE PV-X C14-6370.
- A link showing where is the hazard : http://imgur.com/QsyY58L
N.B : I have to precise that there is an other difficulty : itineraries are hard to plot because of the location which is near the core. These two hazards combined make the place even more dangerous, hence my post in this thread.
There is a layer of unscoops over about the entire galaxy, just below the 0 plane. It's well known
