My point is that AFAIK for the POI to be added on EDSM's GMP, the system must be on it's DB.It's in the live game, and its approximate coordinates are 80:22:25940. I have the old system map data from it, although no detailed info.

I'm going to Sag A*, I'll add the system to my list of tourist locations to visit. It'll take me some time (more than a month probably) to arrive there, though, so someone else might add the system before me.I guess it'll have to be added manually then, as it's in the live game.

Whoa! I've never seen a ringed star before. Nice find!
Has anyone else see one ?

I recommend the Collection of Wonders. It has a couple of ringed stars, black holes and is a very cool system in general. It was the first time I ever encountered a black hole, a neutron star, and a ringed star, back when I still flew my Cobra.@Maro-Val

POI Update:
POI Name: Skaude
GalMap Ref: Skaude AA-A h294
Desc update: "This incredible system (also known as 'Collection of Wonders') contains two black holes, a ringed M-class star, a ringed white dwarf, and a ringed neutron star. The M-class star is believed to be the largest known stellar body containing a ring system. A tourist beacon is set up near the M-class star."

I haven't seen a main sequence ringed star either, but couple of dwarfs though.Others have found also. When i first saw it, i did a search on the internet. Ringed main sequence stars are extremely rare as allready stated, but they do exist. Personally i had never seen one before that.
This is the last update on the distant permit-locked regions from the Aronnax Expedition. Following her visit to IC 4673 Sector, the Pierre Aronnax has now returned to the bubble and the process of turning in the data is under way. The tour of the distant permit-locked regions involved a total distance travelled (albeit with a detour to Colonia) of over 290KLY and over 14,000 jumps over a period of exactly 26 weeks, with almost 3 weeks in-game time over that period.
.
IC 4673 Sector border summary, from the Aronnax Expedition
Map Ref: Clookeou BX-I d10-133 (or Hen 2-333 if possible but this system is permit-locked)
The Aronnax Expedition reached the vicinity of the permit-locked IC 4673 Sector on 19th January 3304 and spent one week surveying the borders for signs of spacefaring activity, as well as outdoor worlds and systems with all the materials needed for FSD boosting ('green' systems). The region was also circumnavigated to establish its size and morphology, which revealed it to be a sphere of 100 LY radius centred on the Wolf-Rayet system Hen 2-333, which is a possible supernova candidate and is surrounded by a tiny nebula consisting of mass thrown off the central star. It is currently unknown whether the permit lock is a result of a safety precaution or interference from astrophysical phenomena, such as extreme radiation resulting from a supernova, however the immediate vicinity of the border was discovered to have an unusual abundance of life-bearing worlds, including two systems that each harbour two Earth-like Worlds, that must all be considered endangered. Full details, including the location of a suitable 'Forward Base' system a safe distance from Hen 2-333, can be found in the expedition journal: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...x-Expedition?p=6351167&viewfull=1#post6351167

Apparently Stellar Forge will sometimes create star clusters in unnatural looking lines or squares. This pictures are of Eagle Nebula's star cluster:I am on an exploration trip and currently in the vicinity of the Leviathan Nebula, GalMap Ref: Segnao LN-Q d6-2281. While passing through,I jumped into the system Vegnooe DL-P d5-4834 and I while I was scanning some interesting planets there I realized that in the background view of distance stars I can see a strange square cluster. I took a photo:

I thought of investigating this phenomenon. I bookmarked the system and jumped to the nearby neutron stars to get a view from different angles. However, I could not see that square cluster anymore. There are big clusters in the vicinity but not that square. Then, I took a break and I logged out of the game. Next day after some jumps I still did not see that cluster, so I came back to the same system I’ve seen it originally from. Unfortunately, it is not there anymore.
Anyone have some ideas?
