Name: The Dryau Awesomes
System: DRYAU AUSMS KG-Y E3390
Description: Absolute madness of a system from a topology standpoint. The black hole drop star is in tight binary with a white dwarf, which itself has a gas giant orbiting fully inside it's exclusion zone and passing through the cones with a period of 14 minutes. Less than 20ls away lies a binary of a huge waterworld and a ringed gas giant, the latter of which has 2 volcanic moons skimming the very edge of the rings on slightly inclined orbits. The views offered from the surface of the landable moons is unlike anything seen elsewhere in the galaxy, and all objects in the inner system have extremely short orbital periods creating a dynamically changing view in the sky. Absolute must visit for anyone in the area. Even left a couple untagged bodies too for motivation haha, unless Baton got them :D

Woah, that is an amazing location. Excellent find there! I might actually have to fly out there to see it in person.

Blimey, that's like "Death Spiral + +" - pretty amazing find! How far is that from Colonia?

I like to report about the Eock nebula. the area inside and around the nebula is a star graveyard full of neutron and white dwarf stars. I will be scanning as much as I can adding to EDSM well on mission with Canonn to see if there is any signs of guardian activity. also going to check and confirm a reported bark mound site with in the nebula.

Is a high haz system even with 3.0 safe jump in. you can still get stuck between the red dwaf and white dwarf. they are less then 5ls apart. I was lucky and got out alive.

Galmap of the numbers of white dwarfs and neutrons.

Will do more reports soon. if anything you want screenshot and videos let me know.

I had this sitting around for a bit and decided not to submit it as I wasn't sure if it was special or unique enough. That was until I realized EDSM awarded me the badge "Bigger, Smaller, Hotter, Colder" Galactic first for the one planet in it. So I'm submitting it based on that and the original reason being the system just looked really cool.

NAME: Children of Darkness

GAME MAP SEARCH REF: Dryaa Prao PJ-G d11-89

DESCRIPTION: This is a unique little system that contains a bright parent Neutron star with 3 dark orbiting planets. The Class V planet shows up on the system map as a pitch black planet and in the view from the ship, it resembles a very dark blue. What's more special is that to date, it is also verified in the EDSM record books as being the hottest Class V gas giant at a scorching 9,753 K. The darkness comes from the thick iron and silicate compounds in the cloud layers and is located only 17ls from the Neutron star.

The other two planets are high metal ones, with the first one being a Sulfur Dioxide atmospheric black world with patches of lava and the other one being a CO2 rich black ringed world with specks of lava.

The name of the system relates to the darkness of the 3 planets, especially the Class V gas giant which is a rare sight to see, especially in contrast with the bright parent Neutron Star.

SPECIAL UPDATE: Apparently as I went to check on the system in the galaxy map, the graphics for the planet has now changed from what it originally was when I discovered it. I just noticed this now after I've posted the entire entry. Crap. Kind of defeats the purpose of the name at this point. Not sure how the planet looks at all when viewed up close now. But might no longer be worth of an entry anymore. Damn. At least I still got the Galactic Record badge for this one...

POI submission

Type: Geysers

Map search reference: Ovomly DR-D D12-9
Location: Body 2 a, 45.3159, 153.8047

Name: Rubiline Refuge

Description: This volcanic site, located in the Ovomly sector, offers a good opportunity to rest and recuperate underneath a dynamic sky.
The body itself is in a tight binary orbit with another moonlet around a terrestrial, ringed planet, while avoiding tidal lock.
Red plumes regularly erupt, and the site is quite flat, allowing easy landing for several ships. This also makes it quite easy to gather materials.
Curiously, the ground underneath the black sand is in one of two colours, either a jade green, or light sandy orange.

Materials that can be found here are Manganese, Germanium, Arsenic, Cadmium, Tellurium and Tin.

Name: Selene's Rest
POI-Type: Geysers/Fumarole
System/GalMap: Cheae Eur GX-L c7-1
Body/Location: Cheae Eur GX-L c7-1 BC 1 a, Coordinates: -71.8°, 26.1°

Description: This system contains a vulcanic very active tidally locked moon. Its was discovered in April of 3304 in an effort to locate more geological active sites on this far and less explored side of the galaxy. The planetary examination conducted to survey the vulcanic activities on the moon was logged for future references and can be found here: https://elite.laulhere.com/ExTool/index.php?planet=Cheae+Eur+GX-L+c7-1+BC+1+a&mode=3d

The Major Silicate Vapour Geysers are located on the moon Cheae Eur GX-L c7-1 BC 1 a at the coordinates: -71.8°, 26.1°.

DescriptionOn our expedition (The South Western Expedition) towards the western rim of the galaxy I discovered a system with 3 Earth like worlds. The system is located 6,140 Ly north-west of Colonia. There are 5 planets which orbit each other. A binary pair of Earth like worlds is orbited by another Earth like world, which is orbited by a High metal content world, which is orbited by a Water World.

POI Update

System/POI: Ooctarbs CP-E c25-1/Frozen Arcadia

I visited Frozen Arcadia and took some pictures to show off more of the different colours the icy bodies in the system offer, since EDSM only shows one type as of now. Might be a worthwhile addition.

Edit: Took 8 screenshots and made them into two, with a notation which picture shows which moon; might be better than the 4 general pics I first posted (see spoiler).

Now that's humankind heaven! My ELW trinary seems dull compared to your system... Awesome discovery Cmdr !

Not sure if this will be of any interest but I just found this whilst gathering materials.

It is a Data Point, out at:

EORM BRIA EJ-X C28-1851

Co-Ordinates 21.1174, -141.2222

Those are everywhere. They are randomly generated non-persistent POIs. You can find crashed ships, destroyed SRVs and even landed NPC ships anywhere in the game.

No worries thought it might have been something of interest as I am 30,000Ly from SOL on my way to Beagle Point on my second account.
