Moon 2A is located partially in the rings of its parent and is moving fast enough that you can only land on it by flying into its orbital path. Also has multiple geo sites.

For whatever reason it wont let me post more screenshots.....

Name:Dragon's Soul Nebula
Galmap ref:CLOOMEIA IM-W E1-142
Description:An extremely tiny and young nebula that had to have happened very recently on an astronomical time scale. A black hole is the progenitor star. Within the nebula are dark blues, pinks and purples. There is a system just over 1 LY away to see the beauty of the Dragon's Soul Nebula from afar. From the first image below, it somewhat resembles a dragon, with the head, eyes and mouth at the top and wings to the sides.

Name:Rusalka's Trilemma
Galmap ref:SCAULAE ZL-C d13-11
Description:Discovered during the Orion Expedition, near the nebula "Bendurion's Present".
A ringed gas-giant with water-based life is circled by its three water-baby moons: a ringed earthlike world, a second earthlike world, and a ringed water world.
Rusalka was a water-nymph in the 19th century opera of the same name by Dvorak; she sang a poignant song of love and longing to the beautiful moon - but which moon would she sing to here?

I'm waiting for the day that someone finds another triple ELM. This is a really excellent find.

I'm trying (currently in vain) to get a direct upload to the images without the imgur wrapping.
I also have a better name than my first suggestion: Rusalka's Trilemma (she doesn't know which beautiful moon to sing to)

Hi! I'm a new explorer, and this is my first post in the GPM so I'm really excited! I hope you like my submission. I tried scaling/cropping everything down to 640 wide... but every attempt I made kind of ruined the pictures, so I hope this last attempt is still pretty good quality! Let me know :) Fly safe!

(I don't know how to format the map reference, I'm sorry)
Description:This is a unique system about halfway between the Bubble and Sag A*, on the upper side of the galaxy. The most spectacular thing about it is the fact that the first planet in the lineup is an Earthlike planet, and it is orbiting a Neutron Star, and that neutron star is in a close orbit with a Red Giant! The view of the binary stars from that Earthlike planet (shown below) is astounding--I can only imagine what the planets' native inhabitants must feel when they look up at their suns. Considering how dangerous both star-types are to life, and given the fact that a planet hospitable for life is so close to them, I've decided to propose Hell's Oasis as the name of this system(or the planet, if I can name a single planet--I'm not totally sure how the GMP works but I'm happy with whatever comes of it!)

Hello, welcome to ED, and thank you for your submission! I can't guarantee it is unique or noteworthy enough for inclusion, but you did a perfect job on the submission - name, galmap reference, good description and good pictures! If you want to get a better understand of what is and is not considered worthy of inclusion, please take a look at the most recent update post and then check the posts that were and weren't accepted. That will give you a good idea of what we look for.

Fly safe, Commander!

Name:NGC 2516 Open Cluster
Game map search ref:66 G. Carinae
Description:NGC 2516 is an open star cluster in the southern sky in the constellation Carina discovered by Abbe Lacaille in 1751-1752. It is also called Southern Beehive or the Sprinter. Surveys of the cluster in 3306 have found brain trees in the area.

Unfortunately it isn't. The Neutron stars is orbited by a L Dwarf, not a red giant. And the earthlike planet is orbiting all of the stars, not the neutron star.

Photo and revised description for V381 Normae
(Note Black Hole near brightest bodies to top-left). This real-world Low Mass X-ray Binary Black Hole and gamma-ray source is a stunning stop. Its primary 12 solar mass Black Hole is closely orbited by three landable HMC's, all of which are encircled by the orbit of a magnificent Orange Giant of over 18 solar radii. The pair are in turn orbited by three other stars, each with their own sets of landable moons, and the first featuring a ring nearly 777,000km wide.

Now with UC coming to FC, are there any plans to put up a Fleet Carrier network under the aegis and coordiantion of the GMP all around the galaxy? Can't think of another org other than GMP/FleetComm that could make that work for us explorers.

Would be willing to chip my FC in and make him a permanent outpost, especially if it helps to make a galaxy wide net.

Yes.

A bit of a call to action, if anyone is currently in the Xibalba region or has in the past found some nice systems there that might be suited for a Fleet Carrier position for the DSSA I'd be very interested in it!

EDSM sadly only has 3 POI + the organics in the Codex are all very far out in the very light areas of the outer reach, meaning the carrier can't really go there (only very high range explorers would be able to reach it). Currently looking for a system maybe 100 lys radius around WIZZ PI-B D13-6, for a rough reference, but anything nice in the western parts of Xibalba (ideally not too close to Kepler's) and not in the spares region of space (should be reachable by any kind of explorer) is fine.

(I may be mistaken but I don't see this remnant, which I thought counted as a planetary nebula, displayed on the EDSM Galaxy map, though it has been visited several times)

Description:A typical stellar remnant nebula around a neutron star at the edge of the Western Neutron Fields towards the 3kpc Arm, seen here from inside the nebula and from the neighbouring system Byoomiae UP-V d3-4246.
The name comes (almost) from a song by the 20th century rock group Steely Dan.

Game map search ref:BLUA HYPA YE-P D6-628 A 7
Description:Septima Caeruleum means "The Seventh Blue" from latin. The Earth - like planet is located in a system 14 080.87 LY from Sol and 7 974.65 LY from Colonia. Named "The Seventh" because of it's placement in the system. The System also has another candidate for terraformation, the BLUA HYPA YE-P D6-628 A 6. The planet is located in the binary system of an class A and F main sequence star.
