Until I can get it to work in ED, it has a value of 0 lol.
I managed to snag a used X52 for a good price, so I'm happy. Probably not as good a feel as the Pro, but it's still a nice step up from my tiny, old Microsoft joystick I had previously.![]()
everyone has an X52 lol
Everyone on 38,000 backers? Are you sure?

unless your use to waggling your wrists alot!lol
yeah the yaw is set in the stick already(but can be turned off) and as you say maybe able to map to the pedals, be interested to hear if anyone else has the pedals and how they use them?
I thought this review of the X52 was quite informative. They are too expensive for my budget... I'm thinking I might get an xbox type controller to play the game - the guy in the dev diary seemed to have no probs piloting his ship with one and it makes for a relaxed posture whilst playing.
I'm hoping that ED will have enough cockpit functionality to keep all of my CH buttons engaged.

Rudder control (yaw) in flightsims, some have toe brakes. Of course I don't think rudders would work in space, but perhaps thrusters can create a similar effect.
(Forget doing SC with 3 screens or even 2 at current specs)..

Mine arrived today as well. First impressions:
Substantial build, no complaints there.
However, I find the centring spring not stiff enough, and the joystick travels too much.
I also have issues with calibration of the Y axis, which I'm trying to fix with adjustments of the dead zones.
So fat tried it on Oolite and Rise of Flight. Works better with the latter.
Well that is interesting... I own a Saitek Cyborg X and i find the centre far too stiff. I tried playing oolite and found that for minor corrections to keep an enemy in sight was too hard as i found i had to push the stick too far beyond the centre resistance to get movement and then it was too much.
So i would prefer something that allowed for finer/smaller movements.
