I don't have a CH rudder, so I can't tell if these are the packaging dimensions or the product dimensions. But if you have room for these given dimensions, it'll fit for sure.
heh awesome thanks. I was looking on the CH site and they didn't list the dimensions there that I could see.
Is this a serious item? And for the love of god why does it take them 6 minutes to explain it?This could make and idea https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qzGFCye6mU
I noticed that ED only remembers your profiles if you have connected all the USB devices used in the configuration. If one of the joysticks is missing, it will fall back do a default like keyboard only. (at least on my Mac).
Does ED actually support rumble/vibration through the joysticks that have that feature (like XBox 360 controllers)? Mac? PC?
I'd like to check if it actually does, before I invest a lot of time into build it into my simpit!
Thanks.
Thank you for your time! I really hope it will be an option soon.I'd say not. At least, my ageing Rumblepad doesn't rumble, and I've seen nothing about force-feedback in the options screens.
Don't let this put you off though. It's something I'd attach precisely zero importance to in terms of immersion. I've never once noticed a lack of feedback from the controller detracting from the experience in this game.
My question was purely out of technical interest. If the game mechanics support the rumble/vibration concept i would like to give a shot at implementing the feature in my DIY Hotas controller and simpit, that is all. Simply put, if ESeruiously. It's not an issue. You won't notice it.

Thank you! The blog needs to be updated, but i've got a thread running at this forum about my controls in the community contrnt section if you want to see more.Impressive!
Sounds like you're mapping to the digital inputs (individual buttons for increase throttle/decrease throttle). You should map to the axis (which is analog). The throttle, yaw, pitch and roll should all be mapped to axis.Microsoft Force Feedback Sidewinder 2 + Nostromo speed pad N52.

Not sure how to find some help here yet. New to Dangerous but I played Elite back in the day. I've been waiting for this reboot! Finally it's here and I am too. I am having trouble setting up my devices. I'm using a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2. Great stick and everything seems fine except for the throttle. For some reason Elite is sensing it all the way up or all the way down with no in between. I've checked the inputs in the control panel and it IS sensing a range of motion. Any ideas guys? I have a nostromo speed pad N52 that I'm mapping in as well. I'm hoping to swap the throttle to it's mouse wheel. Has anyone here done a setup similar?
