One things the confuses me, the newsletter say's it is the biggest player controlled 'Federations ship' are the Conda and T9 fed ships?

Maybe its just that this ship is even bigger than the Anaconda or the Type 9. If it is bigger than both the Anaconda and the Type 9 then its going to be great fun trying to dock the thing!

Thought it was the Fed Corvette (mini Farragut).

Core Dynamics mostly make Federal Ships (Eagle was farmed out to all factions though). Faulcon deLacy will sell to everyone.

Looks like a super-conda. Will probably cost 300M, and steer as well as a coriolis. The only way I can see it being remotely useful is if it can carry smaller player ships like a mini carrier. It's going to be a pain to line up with the slot, and only turrets will be useful as you can forget about gimbals and esp fixed weapons.

Damn, that looks really really nice, its my kind of Ship. Hope it will have good stats too, but I will need one for the looks alone ^^

Great, Frontier threw this old piece of concept art at us again. Fantastic.
More grind after the Anaconda? Triple the insurance cost? Still can die to a single Viper? Fantastic.
10 dollar when we get it we will have nothing to use it on.
100 dollar because its Core Dynamics its going to be trash tier for some stupid reason.

A beauty she is. I don't expect ever to fly one, however, as the Python is at my upper end, both in terms of how much money I am willing to gather and pour into a single vessel, and in terms of sheer size. I generally prefer small and agile, so I will look forward to being part of a wing led by a Corvette. :)

Well I am hoping they bring out more of these larger ships, combat should not all about dog fighting. If this thing is bigger than a Conda, I can see more naval style tactics as opposed to WW2 Fighter gameplay. Make it slow/powerful and armed to the teeth.

Am looking forward to seeing the bridge on the ship. Tested the Anaconda's bridge in the DK2 thanks to the Beta test, fell in love and am considering selling my T9. A Core dynamics bridge will be slick.

I think it just means that this ship is bigger than the Dropship. You can't go much bigger than a Conda or a T9, since they're already tight fits for the letterboxes.

The wiki also states that the Anaconda is sometimes used as a frigate. This would mean that the Corvette, being a corvette, is smaller than the Anaconda.

It's an amazing ship. Well, by looks, for now, I didn't see her spec and hardpoint placement.
It's a shame it can't be that much bigger than Annie, simply because letterbox. :|

What is the most interesting thing on this, though is, that she's said to be largest federal ship, which for me means there will be an Empire equivalent. And that makes me bounce in my chair, once more. :)

So it looks like the Anaconda has got some real competition. One things the confuses me, the newsletter say's it is the biggest player controlled 'Federations ship' are the Conda and T9 fed ships?

Not sure what you mean.

"The biggest ship" would suggest it's bigger than the anaconda.

"The biggest federation ship" would suggest it's bigger than... The drop ship. For now. I might be missing something but why does the newsletter make you think the Conda or t9 are Fed?

It might be smaller than the Conda. I'm hoping it is. We don't need anything bigger than that. Yet.

Hmm if they are talking about federation, it also implies it'll require a certain federation rank to gain. On the imperial side, I'd like to see the Imperial trader(aka the liberator)
