Try the following:
open the axes tab in UJR, press QuickBind Select and move controls for one axis. Then press QuickBind and you should see UJR simulating the movement along the same axis.
Does it happen?

Also do you perform movement during the beeping?

Hi Aleksej,

Yes in UJR i see the state move when pressing the F2 (Quickbind) button.

Interestingly though, when i push quickbind, after selecting my throttle (Z axis), Both the Z axis and the SL0 axis are moved by UJR.

When i move them physically they only move thier own state, but when UJR does it, it moves both.

Do you have different Physical Stick ID and Physical Axis assigned to Z and SL0 axes?

I wanted to add a screenshot but don't know how to add a picture that's not a URL.

The Z axis is on Physical stick 2, physical axis 3.

The SL0 axis is on physical stick 3, Also Physical axis 3.

So i assume because they are both Physical axis 3, UJR see's them as the same.

I think the same thing happens if i try to use the the thumb-stick on the CH throttle pro, it matches it's X and Y to the Joysticks X and Y.

What does the "QB" column mean in UJR?

Stick ID is different, physical axis is the same, if i change it to anything other than axis 3 it doesn't detect any movement.

I thought that stick three axis 3 was different from stick 2 axis 3. Didnt see that as a problem. UJR seems to be able to tell the difference on the Axes 1 tab, but not when binding.

That is actually something strange. Physical axis can have the same numbering, as they are on the different devices "Physical Stick ID". So this shouldn't happen.

You can take a screenshot and upload it here:

Then post a link to the image.

QB:
Added "QuickBind" function - bind game functions without leaving the game!
Instead of manually selecting an axis or button by using the QB radio button, you can use QuickSelect.
Bind QuickSelect to something, and when you hit it, press a button or move an axis.
The relevant axis or button will then be selected for you.
-------------------------------------

That is exactly what you are doing with QuickBind.

Have you tried resetting vJoy?

I gues i could delete and recreate the virtual joystick. But as this only happens in Elite and not any other games i think it's just an Alpha bug thing.

This setup works fins for War Thunder, Diaspora/freespace 2 IL-2 etc.

How many axes do you actually use? 7? Is device 2 - joystick (with 3 axes) and device 3 - throttle (with 4 axes)?

hi There,
yes there are 7 Axis. I don't need to use all 7 but the problem is 6 of them are getting paired up. so i only have 4 usable axes. And to make things worse the two Z axes don't play nice with one another. With X and Y i can just leave one stick alone.

Device 2 is the CH pro throttle.
It has 3 axes, as it have a thumbstick similar to an xbox/ps3 conrtoller, these are X and Y. It also has a slider for Throttle up/down which is Z.

Device 3 is my joystick.
It has 4 Axis, X and Y (Pitch and Roll) and you can twist the stick left or right for Yaw. It has a slider which is it's Z Axis. (meant to be used as a throttle if you only have a joystick.

Here are how the devices see the axes
Axis 1 Roll motion (both devices)
Axis 2 Pitch motion (both devices)
Axis 3 Throttle motion (both devices)
Axis 4 Yaw (twist) motion (only on the Joystick)

And i think i mentioned this before but it effects the buttons as well and not just the Axes. What shows up as button 13 in UJR maps as button Joy2 in the game.

Have you assigned buttons using QuickBind?

Have you assigned buttons using QuickBind?

Assigning the buttons using quickbind doesn't work in ED.

My Quickbind button is F2, when i press F2 i get the beep but instead of assigning the correct button i map F2 to the function.

within game.. the binding function works ok with the Axes, I get the beep and the expected axis is mapped. But as i tested out of game , UJR moves BOTH axis 3 when i push quickbind and not just one.

If i do the same test out of game for the buttons, quickbind works fine, UJR pushes the correct button and only the correct button. Somehow though the game interprets this as the equivalent button on the Joystick.

Do you use QuickBind Select before QuickBind?

yes i press quick bind select, do the motion/press the button during the beeping, then click to assign the key/axis and instead of doing the motion use the quickbind key

Then something is strange. Some kind of weird bug in vJoy or UJR. Have you bridged all available axes to UJR?

Yea bridged them all. Like i said, this only happens in the Elite Dangerous Combat scenarios, so i think it has to be an Alpha 1.1 thing. Two controller support apparently didn't hit the Alpha at the 1.1 stage.

If it were an vJoy or UJR problem i would have this happen in all the other games i use HOTAS for.

Cheers for your help though

Then some weird bug. I haven't been using devices from different manufacturers. I am using X55 hotas.

Anyway Premium Beta will fully support multiple controller devices.

Yea i am considering swapping the microsoft controller for a CH model stick so i can use the CH control manager, but as the CH sticks dont have the Yaw twist i'd have to get pedals too.

The next thing purchased after X55 were rudder pedals. It was inevitable.

I have a cheap and easy solution for control that incorporates elements of HOTAS and Gamepad systems.

8x analog axis
22 x buttons
2xpov hats
duel haptic responses

SPOILER]

My conjoined Frankenstick :) ,despite it's looks this works very well and as I used old gaming peripherals I had lying around cost was nothing.

Now if I could only do something with the half dozen Sidewinder FFB pro's that lurk in a box. :(

Thrustmaster T-flight HOTAS X

This is a great controller once I get used to it. The only problem I have so far is I get stuck on lateral thrust. I disabled that on the joystick configuration though. Does anyone think having lateral thrust will be a benefit? I don't know if something is wrong with my stick or it just sticks sometimes. I think I can counter the thrust though. anyone else have this problem?

I am not having such problems, although I have different setup with X55 and rudder pedals.

However, I will answer the other question - lateral thrust might give certain advantage in combat.
