I did some digging around on the Raxxla effects pedal the first time it popped into this thread. I thought, you know, given that Ed is a musician....maybe? But I think that either it's total happenstance or, the manufacturer of the pedal in a fan of the game. It's made by a Russian company in St. Petersburg and is currently discontinued. The company seems to have existed from 2002 until 2015. So it's highly unlikely (read: nigh on impossible) that the pedal has anything to do with this. Linky below:

not. This is a real phenomenon on Saturn. It is caused by processes in the planet itself. In the years when Saint Braben wrote the first Elite, among lovers of conspiracy and "green men" there was a theory that it was created by aliens. This is a very ancient history, at least the generation of eighties knows about it. Give me a second, i'll try findIs that a photoshop?

And that leads to a startling conclusion... Could be Saturn the place we should start the search?!
Taking the pole as the indicator and checking wich systems align with those figures around the design of the symbol?

This would also fit the whole it's in the bubble idea considering the time Raxxla was even mention and sought out for.
Community managers knows nothing about Raxxla, as far as I have heard.
Keep an eye out for ancient message capsules while visiting close to the orbit of Saturn, in case you stumble upon some data crystals. I hear they contain starmaps from long solitary expeditions. I think Will is just adorable, he doesn't have to stress about knowing these things. The journey is too difficult for most anyway. Somebody should show him how to drink proper tea though.

A little bit strange, but I can not scan the ring, although there are three mining sites and there should be places where some materials accumulate. Possible error in the scriptWho knows?

Not all ring scans will reveal hotspots and thus will appear as not being scanned at all.
