Sadly I wasn't playing when the rift mystery was solved, it was over a couple of weeks before I started but I still made the pilgrimage out to the 3 sites and on to the Zurara but this project is the best thing I've been involved in and is a real credit to the team involved in setting it in motion and to all involved no matter their contribution. I can't wait to see what twists and turns are yet to come.

I've been away for a couple of days. Great work, team!
Looking at the fun Katta System, I noticed that the system includes 2 player factions. We're bolstering one of them directly (they're one of the bottom 3) while the other is only in the 10% INF range, so not far above the bottom 3 (they're in the almost-7% to 8% range). Once we successfully shore up the bottom 3, will we be shouldering 4 factions- then including the other player faction to keep it from falling to the bottom?

I missed the rift as well, by about 2 months which is probably why I'm so excited about this project. But likewise I made the journey out to rift, hawking's gap, (and the other one that I have totally forgotten where it was!).
Conflux. Very little has happened since then game wise apart from the Bugs invading the bubble and inexplicably leaving again, so I really hope something game/lore wise comes of this but either way I've had a great time and it's got me in love with combat which I've hated for as long as I've played.

From past experience, community managers aren't usually party to lore stuff and I've got very little faith (for multiple reasons not relevant to this) that FD can deliver anything interesting and / or bug free lore wise however I'm enjoying the journey with you all

Some older videos are stored, but not the one we're looking for. Eventually there are some Twitch archive sites... Otherwise we could reach out to the Community Manager, perhaps they have a source. It's not that this video contains any spoiled secrets (but who knows).
@Esteban regarding Katta. The intention there is simply to counteract the negative states long enough that they do not become a problem for us in our expansion. Today until next tick might be enough for our purposes. 8 to 10% is usually well above what we need, but these all still have the negative states to drop them back down again.
Neither player faction in this system is making a serious attempt to control the place. So long as our meddling doesn't cause a potential retreat of one of the factions it shouldn't be a problem.

Unfortunately all the CM stream stuff that they put on twitch only gets scrubbed after a certain amount of weeks. But then again, that may suit Frontier just fine...
I do like your line of thinking though about maybe Frontier may let us into Sol. And again, I keep coming back to this. The Sol System has 6 Factions... If not TDW then WHO is supposed to fit in that 7th slot? We will find out in about a month when we test it so I hope you all keep turning that wheel with me. And to be honest with you the thing that I am REALLY EXCITED for is to see what happens on the NEXT PHASE which will be when we test LFT 509. So LFT 509 is a nifty little system and we all saw all the hubub a month back making a VERY STRONG argument that LFT 509 is the home system of TDW. Well my research that I shared back then on my show and in this thread uncovered patch notes Frontier gave us YEARS AGO in Patch 1.2 that showed that LFT 509, Isinor and a third system that I forget the name of just at the moment were all systems WITH PERMITS AND that Frontier put content in those systems for us to work. Well We subsequently found the Isinor permit long ago but nobody ever found the other 2 permits. The way that permit locked systems work is that you get the permit from the local branch of the faction within 20 Ly of the permit system. Well, if we have VERY GOOD REASON to suspect that TDW is the local system WITHIN 509 then it stands to reason that (if it is handled the way other permit systems are) when we get TDW within 20 LY of 509 then the closest system within that 20ly range will be the permit issuing mission giver for that system right???
So yeah I am quite intrigued by Sol (Phase 1) but EVEN MORE excited by LFT 509 (Phase 2).
All around the future is bright. I am so excited that this project that so many said would never amount to anything keeps making progress ENTIRELY thanks to the hard work and dedication of people like you all reading this. I can't thank you all enough for this! <3

Is it unusual for a minor faction to have power gride or survey site in a system they don't have a presence (to speak of) in? I'm trying, for the life of me, to back track. I was looking for Wreaken sites in systems people said they've seen their presence in, back in the day. Off the bat, the obvious ones are Zearla and Tilialia, but there were less obvious ones too. One of these systems, on one of the last body's, on either the 1st or 2nd moon was a Dark Wheel +++ sort of site. I thought, "well I do typically get missions to scan a hub or cut the power in some bizarre system for these factions." But I never connected whether these factions typically have a footing in said system.

@Staarlord I would be extremely surprised to see TDW stations in any system except the 5 we are currently present in. (6 after tomorrows tick if all goes well!)
There may well be non-landable bases that do not show up as ours on Inara, but that is more an issue with the third party sites not being passed the relevant ownership information - there is no dock event to trigger it in the journal.

Na this is one that I literally popped in the system and looked at all stations on all landfall planets, as well as orbitals, looking for Wreaken bases. There was one, on a last body, first or second moon, said "Dark Wheel" and I think had one of those "++" designations. I forget it if it said Survey, or what. It pi**es me off because I thought, "how odd, I don't know this system...I wonder if one of those guys have a secret system being staged..." and went on looking for more Wreaken sites. I'm literally frantically looking at browser history and trying to find what systems people have said they have found Wreaken in, between 2016 to now.
