Youre talking about the link to another thread (that i saw before i posted to this thread) that takes me to a pointless thread that links back here and to the HHGTE, where i went and asked questions that came up with zero results of an answer/reply.. Is that what you are riddling about?

No, I am talking about those 2 lines from the first post:

Closest black hole to Sol - P Puppis B at 224.94 Ly - CMDR Endereth Ernal

Closest black hole to human colony - P Puppis B at 32.88 Ly from HIP 38235 - CMDR Endereth Ernal

Edit: also why would i need to use the forum search to find the thread i already found?.. This thread!. Your assuming stuff that doesnt make sense and diverting from the info i supplied on a correction to the list. Something you feel hurt about cause its a find of yours thats incorrect.
Perhaps you would need it to use more often to learn how to use filters and find posts not threads?

Assumptions again, Ender.

At the time i first posted the find, why would i need to use the search? The list was/is wrong and i posted info... No search was needed.. Its all in your head as to why i needed to use the search.

OK, I give up - it looks like you are hopeless as far as admitting your shortcomings, so at least read the post #153 (you could find it the same way I found it). I hope your time and patience is in enough amounts for it because you have disillusioned me as far as your resoluteness goes.

Record breaking: HD 37397 B is the smallest black hole known so far, 2.8164 solar masses

I'll look into things more carefully from now, I may notice something more interesting!

Edit: oops, found smaller, just 2.7109 solar masses weights 4 Kappa Leporis B
http://i.imgur.com/nzcRlec.jpg

it's just from the memory of the black holes I've found recently. I probably have seen more interesting stuff - if I just could look over the list of things I've visited, if there would be such a thing...

I think I might have the Lightest Star (non brown dwarf) and Lowest temperature > T Tauri star at: Blu Euq TS-U e2-15

* 0.0117 Solar masses
* 336.00K Surface Temperature

It also spins furiously, if only I had FRAPS to record it - looks amazing :)

Edit

Are we also measuring the largest planet-rings ( Outer minus Inner radius). If so I'd like to send in this
Blu Euq GB-F D11-142 ABCD 4:

* 427,777Km from outer to inner radius in one ring

More edit

Even bigger rings on this planet: Cat's Paw Sector HR-W D1-31 (planet 7)

Single largest ring: 6,138,756KM from otter to inner radius
All 3 rings on this planet combined: 8,077,117Km from outer most radius to inner most radius

What a view :)

Sorry to disappoint you but Carazvan got a better one - records just are not updated because Patau is a little absent due to his commitment to rare commodities, currently.

Bah, just noticed now. And I just found one that's same weight 0.0078 Sol Mass at Blu Euq Hr-N E6-21... oh well, on with the search :)

Sorry to burst your bubble, but i just beat you after making my first exploration trip to the Pleiades Nebula:

Black Hole in Maia with 2.6602 Solar Masses :)
It's also my first black hole i ever discovered, didn't manage to get very close, quite a hot thing, so unfortunately i didn't see much i think? Anyone ever tried to use it for travelling if possible? :)

I think I just found the youngest star: BYEIA EUQ FG-Y G4

It's a whopping Zero Million years - Really? - yep :)

Smallest body with ammonia-based life - COL 285 SECTOR GV-D B13-4 1 with a radius of 14,982 km - CMDR Endereth Ernal

carbon-ammonia-based counts? Then its here 9,589km. :)
Or should it be a separate mixed carbon-ammonia life form record? :D

Journey to FEHU.
Furthest Imperial system from Achenar - 363,22ly.
Been there done that. ^_^

I sure hope Frontier starts feeding stuff like this into the GalNet newsfeeds. Maybe in a post-holiday coding sprint.

There is plenty going on in the galaxy but GalNet feels incredibly news-light, to be polite about it.

I really hope to see the system automated to report things like these findings in some way. At a minimum, every time a commander visits a system never before visited by anyone, or scans a planet never before scanned.

Bounty hunting needs similar news from across the galaxy- what commanders are bagging the most bad-guys, the highest bounties, the most tricked out opponent's ship, etc.

1st day at NGC 7822 otherwise knows as the S171 O-class stellar nursery ... New Records after about visiting about 1/3 of the big stars

For some fun here's a pic of one of the stars .... it had a rotation period of about 1 sec ... getting close to pulsar ranges
(all shots below are happening in the time it takes to exit out of SC and me pressing screenshot button furiously)

Wow, these are great screenshots.
Respect ^_^
I wish you could make a video of that star ^_^
