Yeah, I am thinking a third kinetic type weapon on top will help shorten the fight....i'll work on another build test. Still along ways to go 24% combat master.

Got most of the mats and a short shopping trip will sort out the rest......

Relogging doesn't work any more.
Quit to desktop might still work, but I've never used it.
No no, relogging works of course, exit, go back to main screen, load game again, you spawn back into normal space where you left. But the Tutorial claims that when you boost back into SC signal source will appear next to you, likely behind, but no signal source appears. Tried it twice.
I'm confused.
You could relog, and the HGE would still appear in supercruise. This was removed pretty quickly by FDev.
You could quit directly to desktop, reboot game etc, and HGE would still be there.
Yes, I believe if you quit to desktop it still works, but not if you quit to the main menu. Not that it's supposed to work that way
Oh well.... need to try, but re loading from scratch (from HD on xbox) would not be worth the hassle.

To be fair, though, he does do a lot of nice, short videos with good info. He's one of the better content producers.
TBH that exploit was needed because HGE were not spawning very much, but I think FDev fixed things so that HGE spawn more regularly. I've been finding at least 2 or 3 HGE every time I jump into a high population system. The Imperial systems consistently have HGE with Imperial Shielding (G5 mat) that fills up that bin pretty fast. These can be traded for everything else you will need.
I think it's faster now just to scan for HGE and go to them as you jump to a system.

I had a hilarious incident today, out at Cinder Dock (Chloe Sedisi's base). I had gone out to get some scan data for Chloe, so that she'd grant me access to higher level upgrades, and when I got back I decided I wanted to drive the SRV around her base a bit, just to take in the sights.
Her base is quite large and full of interesting looking buildings and roadways.
So I deployed the SRV, expecting to be lowered down into the garage below my ship, as usual. Instead, I was launched 3km into the sky, where I began to fall rapidly!
Through sheer luck I managed to apply enough thrusters at the right time to avoid being destroyed on impact. Wow, never had that happen before. What a rush
Driving around inside the base was very cool. The colors in the sky made it very beautiful, I thought.
I'm gonna transfer the Krait out here and stay a bit, I think. It's an interesting area.
