I noticed that Void Opals were selling for a very high price in Colonia today. I checked my hold and I only had 94 of them, but it seemed like a good excuse to visit civilization for a bit.
So, I decided to spend 400 in Tritium fuel and I hopped the FC to Tir. I decided my venerable Python was overdue for some work, so I fired her up and made the short trip to sell the opals. I got 158 million for them, so I guess it was worth it.
I was very annoyed to find NPCs swarming around my carrier. And scanning me. And getting in my way.
And then an incredibly lame pirate decided he wanted my Void Opals, and attempted to attack me, only he waited until I had already entered the no-fire zone of the station I was heading to. He jumped in right next to my ship, told me I was a greenhorn and he was going to boil me up, and then looked around at all the cops and hastily exited the area.
I've gotten rather used to having peace and quiet. I guess I am spoiled now. Just as I like it.
I attempted to find Tritium to buy in Colonia, but currently there isn't much. I found a very lovely little station in the rings of a planet that was able to sell me 6 whole tons of it. Oh well, I have enough for the moment. I may have to actually mine the stuff at some point, though
I'm going to wait in Tir for a bit, and see if the Tritium problem clears up. But I won't stay long. It's much to noisy around here.
