About a month ago, that would have been 5 times that amount.
At one point during this latest release I was sure that FDEV knew what they were doing.
There was a shining moment when mining was balanced so that all 3 methods produced well, and it was fun to take all the tools with you and work your way through the various types of asteroids. At the end you were paid very well, and it was fun.
There was the incredible new player-market, driven by Tritium prices. I've never seen that kind of player cooperation in the game, across modes, across platforms.
I thought to myself, "Wow. They got it really right this time!"
Then they killed it. They tried to fix an exploit, but wound up nerfing and destroying things instead. Carriers are still stranded. All the goodwill that had built up in those 2 weeks...gone, and replaced with anger, frustration, and dismay.
So I realized that FDEV had only accidentally got things right. It was not intentional. And now they broke it, and apparently don't understand why or how to fix it. Each patch has more bugs.
My opinion of FDEV took a deep nosedive after all this, I'm sorry to say.
I'm sure the game will lumber on, and I'll still find fun stuff to do, but geez. They could hardly have handled this release worse.
