Brought to you in comfort aboard a 3308 Orca with Millenium Dolphin Tours. A top 1% of all Liners brand!

Regarding my NPC - She is currently running a GU87 with fixed beams.
Now she is Elite, should I switch to something else?
Depends on the mothership loadout. If the mothership is MC/projectile heavy, then keep the fixed beams to help erasing shields.

But if your ship is lazors heavy, I would go for MC SLF. Bonus for MC SLF, their ammo is unlimited unlike yours. So it will be win win if you like blow things up all day long at CNB.

Combat in the dark is quite tricky, unless.... ;)

If you were a Star Citizen pilot lost in the dark and trapped in the superstructure of a megaship, you would probably destroy your ship bumping into the structure while looking for how to enable night vision to see your way out.
I know this, for some reason.....
Not that I've played Star Citizen in months now.
I miss ED's NV when I mess around in SC. I think I might go for EDO later, been doing some on foot stuff in SC. 🤭

I didn't know there were ranking there, not that it would interest me very much. I have no idea how to even check.

But, grats! :)
It's something that just happens by default, one does not need to work towards it. If you have profile on Inara, then all your data (ranks, kills, jumps, distance travelled... anything, really) has a score attached to it, and Inara adds all the scores up to form a ranking system, plus badges for reaching particular goals in each category (trade, exploration, ship combat, rescues, etc.).
Here's yours, in fact!

Heh, cool. I never knew about it.

Inara ranking top tens and how you compare with them is interesting.
Some people have played this game to an unbelievable extent.
Many thanks for pointing that out...now I feel puny... 😄

I only noticed myself a few weeks ago!

I've slipped a bit to #877. I did break into the 700's at one point but others must've decided I wasn't welcome :D Not something I'll be pursuing mind - therein lies madness and addiction. Er... well, worse addiction then :D

As to what I've been up to...

A little quiet the past few days due to excessive heat - it was just impossible to have both the sun-through-the-double-glazing and my RTX3080 inducing sunburn and heatstroke. Had to evacuate the pilots chair for a bit.

Still, I did manage the odd stint and got lucky, especially today, as I got a bunch of materials I needed for the weapon I'm upgrading which is now complete:

This weapon is not set up for stealth ops! Time to see what it does...

From what I've heard, and this is just hearsay, it shoots cute little purple bubbles at your enemies. With minimal damage.

But that's just what I've heard. I've never tried the weapon myself.

I'm looking forward to your review!

I've hovering around the #30,000 mark for the past 6 months!
The Manticore looks nice. Does it shoot better that the one in the Training mission?
That one felt like I was shooting Coconuts with a fairground air rifle.
