I don't know if it is a deliberate thing but the tick used to show about 1.5 to 2 hours later on Xbox...it is now at the same time as PC. But agreed not a great time of the day to do it for me.

The good news is it’s constantly drifting so it’ll eventually be at a good time for you

For the systems I'm working on (Galactic Co-ords 70 : 15 : 100) the ticks happen between 4:00PM & 4:15 (15:15 UTC/gametime). This about three hours behind where it happened before at righly 1:40PM (12:40 UTC).
This is on Xbox platform.

I completely agree. But it will not happen, unfortunately. All 2 years of my BGS interest the tick was moving later, getting earlier during patches or BGS crashes (I remember at least, one crash, but forgot the date )

Nope. Came here to post about it.

It has been creeping forward ever so slightly since the last Update, till it was approx. 15:10 - 15:30 yesterday where I am. But today no influence nor state changes in the first dozen systems I looked at (by 15:50 anyway).
