Any one not sure how you all meet up how about if we all try and log in using the network linking server number 79.-------------

I also suggest just for this battle all use the same teamspeak or all Pirates use Han Solo's teamspeak all mining support ships use Kroy's

I do have too channels in the dedicated teamspeak for Live Video recordings or streaming . So it would be easy to identify what side Cmdrs are supporting .

Green on Green will not be possible all hostile targets firing weapons will turn every one in the combat RED so you need to make sure you can communicate with your fleet of ships and your wing men .
The only ships not being shot at should be those not deploying weapons i.e those commanders trying to stream or record the battle , please take note the pirates will fire at you if you try and take any of the cargo canisters .
At the end of the battle the fleet with the most ships still flying get to scope the cargo canisters for any repair and insurance costs .

If a very large number of ships and Commanders want to try the battle we may try it again , in the same day or the week after so as many commanders as possible get to try . That could mean too battles one at 8pm until 9pm
Then retry at 10pm until 11pm but it may be better to try the week after because I suspect the network code will be a lot better with more Commanders in game .

If any Mastopolis cargo get's spilled then the Mastopolis Police side should have to scoop it up to secure it, whilst the pirate side should be trying to scoop it up to steal it :)

Not too fond of teamspeaks and what about those who cannot hear?. Seriously I would shoot anyone who talk crap. Especially these loud mouth yanks and northern accents!. :D

Therefore teamspeak is out of the question for me.

teamspeak has text and group channels for those that can not here as well .
the messaging system is just as fast as you can type in the channel and press enter .

Yes I am well aware of chat channel, I am just answering on my keyboard via your teamspeaks. :)

Hi welcome Maxim Jameson I hope you get to take part in the Battle on Sunday 20 April at 8pm GMT standard UK time .
If not I may arrange for you to get blown up by a fleet of friendly ships .
If all players able to take part in the battle start replying we will be able to work out battle group plans .
Kroy if your teamspeak is not available let us know my channel can hold up to a maximum of 500 Commanders .
The pirates and I will see you all soon .

So commander Blackley im guessing you no longer have the Anaconda as you tried to destroy my Cobra by ramming me at full speed in your Cobra I did notice though my Cobra almost exploded you did not even lose your shields so must be a yet one more bug you are using .
Or just as a test you edited the files again lets hope you find all the ways to hack the files so at full game release no one can hack the code .

Six days to go for the Pirates to invade the Asteroids .

Rules of engagement as long as commanders do not try and defend the miners and do not try and leave with the cargo canisters that the Pirates need , you will remain neutral from all sides of the battle we are suggesting that any one not deploying weapons may be trying to do a live stream and record the invasion . Though it would be very help full if some commanders try and take part in the combat and stream at the same time from both sides of the battle .

Kroy im sorry but so far you have not replied to any posts for a while so hope it is ok if we promote your teamspeak server IP tsbooncontrol.com:9989 password mystical4wakening .

Mobius im also sorry please could you ask the person players and testers need to ask to be able to use your teamspeak server .

Server for the network we are going to try and use the 79 server this time .

And finally if you need any information check all the posts on this thread .
Battle starts Sunday 8pm GMT standard UK time them at 8.05pm GMT the miners finally send a may day asking for help so a group of Naval or mining support ships jump in to try and defend the miners .

OK three more days until Sunday and the planned event in the Asteroids on the Network server 79.------------

We are still hoping for a few more volunteers to do live streaming and recording of the planned battle so we can test how many Cmdrs can get in the same instance , and show of how the tests are going to all those members of the forum not yet in game or in multi player .

Alright. I'll come along with a view to be a camera man. Since I traded in my cobra for a sidewinder for the purposes of a non obstructed view of things as it is.

I don't see how this will work.

If you're not able to select a side/faction in-game, how are you going to tell who is on what side once the action starts?
