Definitely rooting for a mountains pack, I need the fluffy happy Pallas cat

If it includes the Gelada and Alpine Marmot I'm definitely for a Mountain Pack. Maybe Griffon Vulture as Walkthrough Exhibit (Exhibits should have the Possibility though to turn walk through completely off because if I remember correctly my local Wildpark isn't letting People in there that often. But they are safe for Walkthrough Aviarys and I think in some Zoos it's always possible to go in there)
Jaguars are sometimes living in Deserts but I understand your Point because Deserts normally aren't the first Thing you think about regarding this Species
Well to be honest ocelot is just a slightly different clouded leopard.
The Margay would be a more unique Species. They can mimic Sounds which they use to hunt Primates and they are the only Cat Species that climb down Trees Head first
I'd like those and not only because building a Planet Zoo Version of Japari Park might be Fun

They also have a black Color Morph
Islands Pack in December = Christmas Island Red Crab as Exhibit Animal

So, after seeing the videos of the new walktrough exhibit, I'm not really sure what to think about them. They work good for the bats, which move a lot and are small. So I could definitely see something like parakeets, conures or lorikeets being kept in these kind of exhibits, but I would be a bit disappointed if it would have taken 3 years to give us such a system, I'd rather have something similar to the siamang climbing thing, on which the birds could perch and fly between the points. This would probably give us a bit more freedom.
Anyway, all I know is that we are really lacking birds. Hopefully we'll receive some flying ones, but even if we would just get ground birds, I would be completely happy with that.
There's one Type of Bird that I'm not sure about if it would work well for the Exhibits. Macaws and other big Parrots. They love to climb which I really want to see in the Game but it becomes weird if a Parrot just continuously climbs up and after a short Time back down again. I haven't seen much of the Bat Loops yet, so I don't know if there's a similar Situation with those
Give me my serval. Give me my European wildcat. Give me my Sumatran tiger.

Thumbs up to all of those. I'd especially like the last two
Overload me with cats. I want so many cats that the game becomes Planet Cat. No, that's an exagerration, but there still aren't enough cats.
And once we have every Cat Species that exists in Zoos, Frontier needs to start giving us all Primates
I should have put that in a better way. Its not that birds are more special, it's just due to their diversity they have different requirements. The size of the WT exhibits would seem to large for some birds and to small for others. What if you don't want a walkthrough enclosure (i.e. large raptors). What if you want the traversalable area to be round and not rectangular. Also it would be would to have birds fall in the exhibit animal tab. It would make more sense to either be in there own tab or be in the the habitat animal tab, which I think is more likely.

This Way we could also have multiple Species in one Aviary without the Need to adjust the Exhibit first. Especially smaller Species would also fit pretty well into the Walkthrough Exhibit too though
In addition to birds, it can be home to sloths and tamarins, for example. After all, tamarins are pretty tiny, this would be a great solution for them.
Gliding Mammals would also be great for those
If WT exhibit is meant to include most flying birds, I would prefer even a DLC with just 4 habitat animals and 2-3 WT exhibit animals and 1-2 classic exhibit animals. We need so much more reptiles, invertebrates and small flying critters.
It's so weird how underrepresented Exhibit Lizards are in the Game. Also still no Chameleon, Gecko, Plumed Basilisk....
I think people are forgetting that birds don't fly in captivity. Unless it's HUGE to them, they just stand around and hop from branch to branch. There's a WE at the Houston Zoo, so big it has a tree inside, and I don't see the birds darting from here to there. I only see them hanging out in 1 spot or flying from A to B, and back (like a loop

). Honestly, I think the size is perfect for most birds and bats, but if we get bigger/smaller species, then having alternate sizes (and shapes) would be fantastic
That's why we also need Flight Shows for big Birds (and maybe even bigger Aviarys?). They need to use their Wings from Time to Time

If I remember correctly I've already seen Griffon Vultures flying in a Aviary but it was Years ago so sadly I can't say how big it approximately needs to be for that
They aren't related to Dodos. Dodos are Pigeons

Also at least currently there isn't a single Zoo that keeps Kakapos. Don't know if it was done successfully in the Past. I'd prefer the Kea over it
And before anyone says it, yes, the game would be a half-decent medium through which to educate people on this bird, but frankly if it came at the expense of far more iconic NZ animals that are actually kept in captivity (internationally, too - namely the kiwi, the tuatara, and the kea) I'd throw you all off a bridge.
Can I help with the Bridge Thing?

I'd love the New Zealand Animals you've mentioned and a few others. I'd even take the Takahe over the Kakapo and I think that one's only kept in 2 Zoos.
That's why I always get a little irritated when people want sumatran rhinos. And imagine them breeding like crazy in PZ
In my Opinion the Giant Panda Situation is equally ridiculous. They only ovulate only during a few Days in the entire Year but I need to give them Contraceptives if I don't want them to breed like Rabbits in the Game
Personally, I would love having a bird that takes apart cars in Planet Zoo. But we can agree to disagree.

When I've built the Kea Aviary in my New Zealand Zoo I've put the Jeep in there
A Man/Woman of Culture
Sumatran rhinos are really incredible
Funfact that makes them even more incredible: they are the closest living Relative of the Wooly Rhino
pรจre davidยดs deer would be perfect to the game
Absolutely agree regarding this Species
Sorry to nitpick but we got giant redwoods - huge red trees with high up branches. It's the coastal redwood - sempervirens - which is my more desired pick for creating more realistic forests
But they don't look like the Trees you'd find in Zoos or Botanical Gardens. Way too big for that
Anyway, I get particularly passionate about the kakapo because I've worked closely with them in real life.
Sounds absolutely awesome. I bet there aren't many People that ever had a Chance to do that
By the same token, proboscis monkeys are incredibly difficult to keep in captivity because we don't fully understand their dietary requirements
What is understood though is that they only eat a few specific Plants. I think in Captivity they also sometimes get a few Things that aren't Leaves. Eggs for Example
I'd say successully breeding the Sumatran rhino at Cincinnati Zoo is a good measure of how they can thrive in captivity. AFAIK the reason Cincinnati cancelled their programme was because of the logistics of maintaining it, not for any welfare concerns (captive breeding is not as simple as the game suggests, after all; genetic diversity is the single most important aspet, and I can imagine it would be supremely difficult to get new blood into a captive Sumatran rhinoceros population).
So if there would've been a big enough Zoo Population they might've bred as good as other Rhinos and might still be in Zoos today?
I still don't like the inclusion of the p. Monkey.
Could've been worse

If they wanted a rarely kept Primate in the Game, they could've given us the Golden Snub nosed Monkey (which might be the most adorable Primate in Existence) in another Pack. It's kept more often but I think not outside of Asia currently. But I think it was in the Past
I donยดt know if you know this bird, the "Guianan -of-the-rock", but iยดm hoping that this bird come some day to the game. Is so unique!

Another really unique Bird is the Common Potoo
en.m.wikipedia.org
Don't know though if it's only not kept in EAZA or nowhere
Just googled it. There's at least one Zoo that keeps the other Potoo Species
Nyctibius grandis / Great potoo in zoos, Animal Taxonomy, Animal pictures, Great potoo in captivity
zooinstitutes.com
Sadly another Species that isn't kept in Captivity anymore as far as I know. But I think they were bred successfully. It might've been too difficult or expensive to provide the Food for them because they eat Mangrove Leaves. Really hope they can be kept again someday because they are really cool
Hoatzins have never been succesfully kept in zoos as far as I know.
Pretty sure they were. I think the London Zoo had them once
Probably one of the most difficult Birds to keep. But I think someone in the Forum mentioned once that more Zoos managed to keep them in recent Years
