Hello,

Thanks for developing this application! I plan to use it on a secondary usb display, and right now it seems to start and just show the Elite logo. I got this on the log file:

It is normal that the first time it starts with the elite logo.
Then you need to press the joystick button defined as 'PushButton'.
That pops up a menu, where you can select another screen.
2)
However, I see the error message :

No joystick found with PID=c0f3 and VID=068e

I'll look into it.

The problem is, that this needs to be upper case :

Please try and let me know if that fixes the problem...

(I now made this case independent, for the next version)

That was it, thank you very much! Just wondering, wouldn't be possible to make the font size configurable?

Hey, having some issues. The program worked perfect once, and then the next day it won't work. There's a big blank spot taking up the whole screen aside from a little at the top. When I do get it working, it's almost like the resolution is out of whack, the writing if huge and nothing lines up.

I never heard this problem before ?

did you modify styles.css or joysticksettings.config ?

are you using the VR window or are you using fip panels ?

can you download the latest version from github and copy it unmodified into a separate directory?
then run it and check the log files. (don't change styles.css and don't change joysticksettings.config)

Did you download everything from github again ?
If you use the toggle window button on the tray menu
does it look better ?

you are now on the mining screen
what about other screens ?

Yeah, got a new copy of the download.
It's the same on every screen I've tried. And the Toggle Window button doesn't help.
Also, the system tray icon isn't the Elite logo, instead it's an hourglass. Not sure if that's important.

this button opens up another window on the desktop.
does that screen look ok ? (it has no effect on the fip panel)

The hourglass should disappear after some seconds (maybe a minute max.)
it's refreshing all data in the data directory (see importdatalog.txt)

that you are seeing the elite logo is normal.
it won't show anything else, until you bind a joystick hat to it to control the menu.

I don't know what changed for you, since yesterday ?
Unfortunately, I can't think of anything that would cause this problem.

What about plugging the fip panel in another usb port and rebooting?
I remember having to change from a usb3 hub to a usb2 hub before my fip panel would work 100%.

can you change joysticksettings.config

and change the line

<add key="FipSerialNumber" value="MZ8E8AD7E9" />

now the vr window should always show the same as the fip panel

I've tried a different USB Port, switching hubs, uninstalling all drivers and plugins, and reinstalling. Nothing. Still comes up like that. I only got it yesterday, so, maybe I can send it back to Amazon and see if a new one has an issue.

did you change something since yesterday ? (windows updates, monitor configuration etc.)
please try the change to joysticksettings.config that I mentioned earlier.
If the vr window is also messed up, then maybe the problem isn't with the fip panel

I changed it and it's the same as on the FIP. Resolution(?) and text all huge.

I don't believe I changed anything. I've got two monitors I connect and disconnect all the time, however, along with my Joysticks, etc.

you can try to reduce the text size by making the font-size smaller in templates\styles.css
