Mystery's continuation: New message from ''Salvation''

browsing round the the last planet, found a few (non story) things.

The ancient site POI is under ground, explored it as much as I could and didnt find anything to open a secret door or similar so guess the height map for it is wrong?

There is a human signal POI that moves at around 10ms / sec or so but no structures or anything, just the signal moving.

I wonder if the story is bugged still because of this? someone flag CM to check?

I just presumed that as he asked us to find the beacons and track down the survivors, he would want that info delivered to him somewhere, like he did after Hesperus was found.
I don't care about any form of reward, but just for the immersion value it adds to the storyline.
There was that ~1mio cr value data package. Immersion wise, you could say that he meanwhile got a mole in universal cartographics, so no more need to deliver it to a specific place

now that the wreck site was found and people know the last destination to go, do we really need to go through all the probes to get some sort of conclusion to this Peddy-paper?

Sadly I wouldn't be surprised if Fdev did that. Anyone willing to be a guinea pig?

I did all the beacons and investigated all the POI's, got both comm logs and scanned the data point and I never got any further message from Salvation. Also, you should be able to get to the planet easily by plotting to the second NGC 1999 system and then plot directly to the planet.

Probably being really thick here but went to the local Guardian site near the Proteous but couldn't get the blueprint to spawn after powering the various towers. What was interesting is that the "ancient" relic turned into a "guardian relic" in the inventory when I picked it up. Dropping it in front of the data terminal didn't produce the blueprint orb. I'm just wondering if this is one of those sites that requires a "key" rather than the relic to unlock or whether I just got unlucky with a bug? (this was in Odyssey). Any thoughts welcome.

This is correct. You need a key from one of the Guardian space sites.
