The only thing i would like to ask.. when to they attack? when does the game update it? I don't really know.. i've never encountered them before.

For ages, they attacked on Thargsday (thursday) like clockwork, damaging stations and stuff. They have gone quiet at the moment, but you can still get NHSS all around Maia and also over in the Witch Head area.
I am really, REALLY missing AXCZ's, they were the best fun i had on Elite overall.

With regard about all the hard work that you put in Factabulous, are you happy without Thargdays etc, bit of peace and quiet?
Must've been hectic when it looked like an inescapable Thargoid march into the bubble?

Just wanted to get into fighting thargs. So decoding the eagle eye is not available any more? Hmm, wanted to show that to a friend.
Are there still any NHSS where you can fight scouts in the bubble?
It's available - just go to any of the transmitters on the hour and you can decode it. Just not pointing anywhere fun at the moment
No NHSS in the bubble atm (not in the last couple of months at least). To fight interceptors in the bubble your best guess is one of the leftover megaships, e.g., Deciat. No scouts around AFAIK.
If you want Tharg's, anywhere in the Pleiades region is the place to go, - They don't attack you in SuperCruise, - They interdict from HyperSpace, - Now, It is usually more than one that will stop you, - 2-3 or 4 will surround you in normal space when you get stopped, - It is hard enough to destroy one at a time, - I can't think of a good way to take on 4 at once, alone - Maybe a wing of 4? - Coordination is the key when battling multiple aliens - Tank your ship and use the highest-ranked AX weapons you can afford when you confront Thargs, - If the odds are too great, sit quietly until they leave and try again - You will have many opportunities in the Pleiades to practice - Stuff your pockets with rebuy cash just in case.
