Thargoid Attacks: Where, When and What you can do about it

Likely just a coincidence, the marlinist colonies set themselves up on the side of the bubble facing the Pleiades/thargoid space.

Nearly all of the recent incursions have happened in systems that were already attacked during the first "bubble incursion" three years ago, this isn't really an unprecedented level of aggression.

Also possible to be found in NHSS (Threat 5)

These will have either:
- a Cyclops - which would be harmless if you dont attack or carry things of interest for Thargoids
or
- 7-8 scouts.
Non Human Signal Sources (4)
I meant the systems, do they not have the systems split between the two anymore? I usually just went to the system that had only scouts and did the threat 7s

Recon activities dont happen any more... eagle eye is useless and no longer works so systems only go into attacked state as there is no recon phase..
Salvation has dumped going public with early detection system as people just ignored his warning and went to full kill mode with super weapon research and use...
With eagle eye down theres no prediction of were they Go because then there would be no were for salvation to deploy the super weapons as they would be repelled during recon phase...

The Anti xeno groups would just over turn the recon phase so nothing else would happen so thargoid recon phase is disabled...

That's before a system goes into Incursion, yes, but even in attacked systems (Incursion state) there are usually a few threat 4's around. That said I just looked in Gabia and found none, just a threat 6 and 8. Don't have time today to check periodically but are you saying threat 4's have disappeared completely now? From anywhere?

Inara, Galaxy, Thargoid war, overview
Best way to find Scouts is to go in Systems under Incursion and get missions from the AXI megaships

Hes not asking about threat numbers... Hes asking about the states systems used to go through. there is only a Single state now as story forces single state only of attacked syatems...
NHSS Threat number are RNG in the instances of systems under attack they can be forced as Northpin stated...

There were threat 4s in Gabia at the weekend and there are always threat 4s in the Pleiades, Witch Head Nebula and Coalsack Nebula. I had a go in the AX conflict zones there too which were really good fun. I'm only set up for scouts though so was (mostly!) jumping out before the first wave of interceptors arrived. When you next play have a look on Galnet to see the Thargoid presence in a system, that's always a good indicator of NHSSs for the places where they aren't endemic.

Ah, gotcha. Didn't realise he meant so long ago, think I got confused with your mention of the story and salvation, since EE failed 15 months before Salvation's first appearance.

The latest incursions don't seem to have many NHSS in the systems, but if you collect missions to kill scouts (can stack them from different factions, Gabia and Malanges are great for this since they both have 7) you're guaranteed to get some threat 3 or 4s.
Missions are available from undamaged stations as well as the AEGIS megaships but you can only collect from one at a time - if you're already carrying missions from one place, none will show at the others.

Paucuman attacked? Not showing on the galmap yet for me (it is early though)

Musashi jumped to T Tauri without incident - no NHSS in the system :(
