Hi at All.
I will show you three POIs.
1st: along the "Westmeridian" i found the perfect route from PLOOE EUN ID-W B43-0 to PLAE EUHM AB-F D11-2.

2nd. i found the furthest System from SOL nearby the westmeridian on CYUEFAI BC-D D12-4 -30697/ 0 / -2. "Westpoint Ormand" ;-)

3rd. I tried to reach the AICONK RG-Y D0, the last System of the Galaxy in this part. Behind are no more Systems and Stars. It was possible to approach to 850 Ly to AICONK.

Let's see if I'm doing this right then.
Name : NGC 2286 Cluster
Game map search ref. : search for "NGC 2286", although the first result will be a non-procedural system far away from the cluster itself
Description : A relatively large open cluster off the edge of the Perseus arm, a bit over 9000 LY from Sol. Unlike its neighbouring sectors, stars are often sparse in the region, which might make navigation challenging for ships with jump ranges below 25 LY. The sector was rumoured to contain systems that caused FSD lock-on failures, but a recent expedition in Nov. 3301 found no such stars.

Note: There is an "ngc2286" entry in the permits file, but I found no locked systems.
Name : Diamond and Zirconia
Game map search ref. : SPAIDAU VT-Z D13-4 7 & 8
Description : Diamond, the 8th planet from the star, is a hot and humid Earth-like world. Its binary pair, Zirconia (7), looks deceptively similar to Diamond: however, due to a relatively high amount (13.5%) of water in its atmosphere, its average surface temperature is 379 K, nearly 80 K higher than that of its pair. As such, while Diamond could be a candidate for colonization, Zirconia would be have to be a candidate for terraforming first.

Since Horizon beta is almost and I am almost docked (9K) I've decided to submit this POI that is also a candidate POI for the Distant World Expedition
Red Prophecy
WAMBOI KT-F D12-2262, 19,317.74LY from Sol, Norma Expanse Map
POI Type: scientifical and SRV resource collecting/tourism.
This system has a Red Giant as Main Star, and 0.83 AU from it there's an atmosphereless HMC with an atmosphereless moon. Several other atmosphereless HMC orbit the Red Giant, making an interesting spot for both SRV turism (Red Giant Dawn should be amazing) and possibly resourch collecting.
A K class main sequence orbits the Red Giant too, bearing several HMC one of wich terraformable, a Terraformable Candidate Water World, and an Earth Like World. The red Giant is not young, and these lifeforms are doomed to extinction before they can hope to become a civilization.
I can't pinpoint WAMBOI KT-F D12-2262 on the map. Its one of those systems the in-game search just won't locate for some reason. Can you let me know exactly where on the Norma Expanse Map it is, or which existing POI marked on the map its closest to?

sup! My only doubt is that both the planet and the moon have a nice warm 850K temperature. We will see how they implement heat and planet surface, but if they make limits we can as well remove the system as a POI for the distant worlds expedition. Only the beta will tell.I've added it to the map and included it as an optional excursion POI for the Distant Worlds expedition.

This Neutron Star system has a secondary L Red Dwarf that hosts 2 ELW. The strange thing is not only that the 2 ELW are way outside the goldilock zone, but they are NOT a binary pair, and are more than 1000LS apart. It is the first case of a multiple ELW system where the ELW are not binary and this far away. Another strange fact is that ALL the other 4 HMC that orbit the Red Dwarf are Terraformable candidates, making all the planets that this very small and cold star has suitable for life. It seems like a sort system engeneering took place here, making me think that our definition of "alien civilization" could be completly wrong. Digressions aside, this system shouldn't exist at all following science, so it deserves better observation.
I'm not a specilist but I understood that Neutron Stars don't emit a lot of heat and, beeing very small, they heat radiation ceases not very far from them. No idea if this is realistic or not, but based on other systems I've seen (albeit none quite like this!) the primary star can have a significant effect on the temperature of planets orbiting a secondary star.
Probably best not to think of "heat" and think more of "energy". Neutron stars emit a vast amount of energy in the form x-rays and when those x-rays interact with the atoms in a planet's atmosphere they will generate heat. I'm no expert either, but I suspect the ED calculations are based more on the amount of energy being emitted rather than the form that it is in. BTW NS systems are crazy, but this one really was out of any conception!
Just checked distances. L star is 40 AU from the NS, first ELW is 3,5 AU from L star, second ELW is a binary with another planet, but i rember beeing about 5 AU. I dunno if it's realistic or not, but it's crazy!!!! I have also a NS system with a single ELW that orbits it 3500LS away and nothing else! I know there are many other reported so I don't submit. My suspect is that some special "God" tought that NS system must be fun to visit. The same "God" made every star in the galactic rim scoopable, but forgot to toss some nebulae in the 4th quadrant...Probably best not to think of "heat" and think more of "energy".
