Second category of the week!

April 2nd - April 4th
Category: “Most Useful Pieces”

Don’t need to really explain this one as this is what everybody usually judges the scenery packs on, vote for the scenery pack with the most useful pieces.
Most useful pieces:

Conservation definitely. The backstage pieces, wooden slats, gutter pipes are the foundations of my workshop megapacks. Tropical is a close second with the quality of items introducing clutter, unique rooftops and small wooden items to build with.

Voting for Europe myself. After reviewing and going through every single pack, I can confidently say that Europe has the most useful pieces for me.
plus the rock
I honestly think the rocks from the aquatic pack are kinda overrated, but that might be because I’m a mega realism enthusiast. They’re too smooth and unnatural looking making them unusable for me, but tbf they are faux rocks. I only use the small ones for pebbles.

Either conservation (backstage), Australia (metal beams for aviaries etc. actual Australian plants and corrugated metal for backstage buildings or aquatic for the faux rocks…. Based on how often I use things, Australia gets the vote.

Aquatic by a long shot. The faux rock and trees pieces are crucial for any realistic build and I am obsessed with them. Also that recolourable wooden walls.

Conservation. It manages to sneak its way into pretty much every build I do - which makes sense considering its more generic theme. Not having to use piece heavy workshop items for air conditioning sets or keeper tools is godsend. The plants are also among the game’s best.

Shoutouts to Oceania, Europe, and Aquatic though. Oceania gave me my favorite plant set in the game, Europe gave us the game changing decals, and Aquatic’s faux rock and tree sets still hold up very well today.

My rankings of the packs based on the usefulness of the pieces:
  • Conservation: I love building backstage areas and gardens.
  • Aquatic: The faux rocks and general scenery set are pretty useful.
  • South America: I like using the temple pieces in exhibits, and the bamboo is also useful.
  • Europe: This scenery seems great and represented its theme very well, but I don't find myself actually using it as much as the first 3.
  • Twilight: Despite me not seeing the theme as super cohesive, I actually love the stone walls and cave pieces. There are a lot of applications for the pieces of this pack.
  • Africa: The free update scenery was awesome, and the scenery of this pack is also pretty good.
  • Arctic: The wood pieces are pretty, and I love Christmas lights. I have seen many holiday light displays in zoos and gardens near me.
  • Australia: I love the rusty pieces. This pack is so cool.
  • Oceania: I love the blueprints, and some of the other pieces are cool. However, I don't have many applications for this theme. Maybe I need more time with it?
  • Tropical: The pieces are beautiful, but a lot of them are kind of niche. Again, I might need more time with this one.

Hey CharlieXGaming, has the roadmap changed in regards to categories since you started making this? Is there a new plan?
Nope we’re still following the same plan and categories, the only thing that has changed is the dates due to me forgetting to post results like a day late every time 😝
February 16th - April 2nd - Best Scenery Pack
So instead of ending on April 2nd, it’ll end later on like a week from now. Right now we’re on week 5.

Week 5 Results!
This week is mainly focused on pieces, first category was how well the pieces represent their theme:

Not surprised by that one; and the second category was for the most usable pieces which goes to:

And now the last week of the scenery packs!!

Week 6
April 9th - April 12th
Category: “Best Foliage & Rocks”

Vote for the scenery pack with the best foliage and rocks, take into account if a pack doesn’t have rocks; may be a good thing to consider when thinking about which has the best of both.
