Sounds about right for the devs. They don't really know what they're doing in game either and that's laughable. I was watching a video once where they were talking about something but they were practicing manually docking their Corvette, terribly. I recently got my first Corvette after all of the FED rank bonus we had. Rather easy to manually dock I thought, I had no problems and i only recently started doing this manually. It just goes to show that they probably don't play their own game very much. I think the ones that do have perma noob.
I think this train of thought on the undiscovered missions is a step in the right direction. I’ve been messing around in the Prism System near Ruby for a few days now but I’ve gotten nothing to show for it although I know that having a hold full of a large sum of credits seems to be implied (I’m too poor atm). Here’s why I think that:
Almost everything stolen by Winking Cat has had substantial monetary value.
Jefress treasure hunt sent enormous amounts of players to collect jewels in Prism.
Aisling Duval‘s “Shades of Prism” article specifically mentions she was adorned with Painite Sparkles (I believe Painite was the most expensive thing back then).
That Galnet Riddle by Rebecca to find the Zurara had an extra part that I don’t think was solved. “If you know what that means, find “zero” at Fibonnaci’s Zephyrum, a misers sum.” Or something to that effect don’t quote me on that.
I believe this was meaning find the beginning of the spiral, bring a large amount of money. Someone also mentioned in that old thread that Fibonacci’s Zephyrum may be hinting at Aristotle using bee’s to discover the golden ration and mentioned bees eggs (Soontill?)
Also “Princess Astrophel and the Spiral of Stars” has a duality to it. Is Princess Astrophel an allusion to Lucifer (The fallen star). And the Spiral of Stars an allusion to Soontill. I’m beginning to think so. The Club have been seemingly playing chess with humanity but playing against “who” exactly?
To sum it up. I believe they’ve been trying to lead us there for a purpose. To meet someone associated with The DW or CEIP (To meet someone in disguise, perhaps as a beggar). They seem to have Soontill and have been using it against The Club who I now believe have been exploiting Raxxla (it may even be Sirius’ planet Lucifer that is said to have metal rings wrapped around it) as if to signify it’s being restrained and exploited.
The Torc and Duradrive articles have been alluding to a conflict between two powerful computers. One with holograms and a spiral that also suffered at the hands of fire like Soontill did, and another more one durable but far less “pretty”.
Even the names of Ryder’s sons seem to hint at this duality. Neptune desires Raxxla. Oberon desires Soontill, yet they choose Soontill. Perhaps because they deemed that Raxxla was already taken so to speak.
The whole Prism system alludes to Autolycus (The Wolf of The West). Is Sirius the “Wolf of the East”?
In the articles about the far god vs the void cults. The Far God cult also suffers at the hands of fire like Soontill.
Perhaps one reason all these mysteries have been so confusing is because there are two separate things causing them.
Just to add on to the duality thing. I already went over the Music Festival at Phekda but my initial assessment was probably flawed.
The Jade Graceland and Topaz Philharmonic seem to allude to Prism and Soontill.
The Spectacular Nemesis, The Lasting Hold, and Xiona. Seem to hint at Persephone, Lucifer and Raxxla.
I also would like to mention that Neptune aka Poseidon was part of the reason Odysseus went on his Odessey in the first place. Again, Prism has many references to Autolycus and Odesseus. Particularly Eurycleia, the only person that recognized Odesseus while he was in disguise.
I got the impression that Oberon and Neptune had parted ways because of their split decisions between Raxxla and Soontill. This is suggested as to where the CIEP got its origin.
I'm not disagreeing with any of this just trying to clarify from what I believe to be true

I honestly don’t remember. It’s been a very long time since I read and here the wheel. The main thing I’m drawing from their names is their choices on which mystery to go after. The possibility that Alex Ryder named them Neptune and Oberon with a purpose.
Oberon in myth was a wily trickster similar perhaps to Autolycus and Odesseus, Neptune aka Poseidon a deity who’s enmity you wanted to avoid if you wanted a fair voyage.

Once, I got this strange mission from inside the bubble. It was from some anonymous pilot (the image of them was all glitched out in an intentional way) who wanted me to head somewhere. Unfortunately, I don't remember much about it but I do believe I have some photos of it lying around on my phone somewhere...

In Greek mythology, Autolycus (/ɔːˈtɒlɪkəs/; Ancient Greek: Αὐτόλυκος Autolykos, "the wolf of the west") was a successful robber who had even the power of metamorphosing both the stolen goods and himself. He had his residence on Mount Parnassus and was renowned among men for his cunning and oaths.
Mount Parnassus is where the Omphalos / temple of Delphi resides. I wonder where the winking cat lives?

Another trend I’ve noticed: Mechanics.
Art Tornqvist a mechanic related to Cora (another Persephone hint).
Gan Romero another mechanic called out to the void.
The Demeter Generation Ship. Two factions formed on it. The Mechanics and an opposing (more naturally inclined) faction. The Mechanics worshipped the Engine as if it was a deity.
This may be a leap but are these Mechanics being reached out to by Raxxla or Lucifer to help release it or something? Because it’s bound by those coils? Idk a stretch to say the least.

At the risk of dredging up a long buried section of this thread for not much gain, I just want to seek the collective wisdom on the latest 'Job Offer' messages and any relevance to rankings with PF in my quest for TDW/TRDW.
I decided on a whim to re-visit the SD beacons on the PF / Elite and was scanning the Pilots Federation Near Monopoly when I received a Job Offer invitation.
Has anyone else ran into this in Shinrarta Dezhra specifically?
I accepted the Job Offer and promptly attended to the target location. To say that it didn't quite goes as planned would be an understatement.
In my previous experience, a Convoy Threat 3 doesn't normally have 3x Navy Engineered Navy Cutters, and 8x Escorts of Eagles / Vultures / Cobra M3. However I valiantly attempted to perform the requisite task using my Engineered Vette + Elite Pilot and failed miserably! I lost 4 fighters, used 4 SCB before I'd managed to kill one Cutter then had modules damaged so lost the fighter bay and quickly realised I needed to adjust my module allocation for this one.
So I'm currently paying off the Wanted bounty, and re-fitting for another try in a nearby Alliance system.
I also noted some interesting Comms from the targets indicating that they didn't know what they were carrying.
"From":"$npc_name_decorate:#name=Nathaniel Grade;", "From_Localised":"Nathaniel Grade", "Message":"$TransportMissionPatrolComs09;", "Message_Localised":"Have you asked what this thing is? All I got told was don't ask. Sheesh, transport out."
Xeno stuff?!
Even if this isn't related specifically to TDW or RAXXLA I'm enjoying the challenge and it's got a bit of unknown about it, so well played FDEV.

Everything has duality, or they wouldn't stay in motion. As mentioned, Lucifer the light bringer could be the planet Venus, aka the morning (mourning) star when leading the Sun, while she could also be considered as fallen when trailing the Sun. From our perspective, she is on the right or left hand of the "SUN of GOD".
Nikola Tesla said to understand the Universe, one must think in terms of frequency and vibration, and if all the heavenly objects emit their own unique 'tone' eg the 7.83Hz Schumann cavity resonance of Earth then what is likely to happen when those emissions collide, merge, cancel each other or form standing waves?
The origins of chess are tricky to nail down however, the starting positions of the pieces are interesting as the Queen (Luna - Cancer) stands to the left of the King (Sol - Leo) flanked by the two bishops (Mercury - Gemini and Virgo) then two knights (Venus - Taurus and Libra) and two rooks (Mars - Aries and Scorpio).
Pawns on black squares are ruled by Saturn, the black cube and the white Jupiter. As above, so below.

Well I learnt something new today! Don't go to lunch IRL or a in-game Job Offer you've accepted (and attempted) will 'Fail'. Damnit.
On a positive note, I did identify that the Job Offer was originally from 'Future of Arro Naga' who I was allied with, and subsequently have dropped to Friendly.
They also appear to be an ally of TDW as they are on the target list of TDW's Operation Less Than Three's allies that offer the Founders/Elite missions I've been investigating extensively.
I'll keep an eye out for other opportunities, and missions - my ship is now equipped to handle more punishment.

Sounds like a tough version of one the standard missions, so might be the TRDW test. The phrasing of the message is reminiscent of the old UA military convoy missions, they didn’t know what they were carrying either (though some of them seemed to be carrying either goids or ravening soldier clones who went amok). You probably need to re-ally with the mission giver to stand a chance of getting it again. Might be worth trying this in a wing?

You know what, I got a job offer from Arro Naga while I was in that asteroid belt being awestruck by something that was apparently normal, or was it? LOL but seriously that's making me wonder
Okay so upon further consideration I've pondered, perhaps this is why the mysterious tip missions and job offers will populate after being in a system for so long. someone potentially investigating for secrets or something hidden will probably be in a system for a hot minute while they're doing their investigations. Perhaps if you're in the right system or a key system you'll get the right mysterious tip or job offer.
