Gamma was when the galaxy was opened up. Before that(beta period) the game space was limited to cylinder from the Eranin region, almost to Sol.
There was also a regeneration of the galaxy at gamma launch. Many systems changed quite a bit.
Gamma was when we got the galaxy we have now. Even if Raxxla was coded earlier, it would probably not have been 'in the game'.
Might be getting too involved with words and trying to find meaning here, lets imagine a scenario.
Company A is planning to build a game and its in development. Several ideas of what could be included are discussed. At a meeting ideas are ruled in or out. At that point onwards the included ones can be said to be 'in the game' even though its not been developed yet. eg
Are space legs in? no theyre not (not yet, we can add them later maybe)
Are planetary landings in? no theyre not (not yet, its something we want to add soon though)
Are several types of space station in the game? Yes they're in the game. (even if zero code has been written at this point)
is Raxxla in the game?.....Yes

Pretty sure the decal was the WHN participation trophy.
Yeah, after the Enclave we got a bobblehead and a Palin Clone.
Anyone with Quadruple Elite checked to see if they get any different missions from the DW?
Different, the 1 Arx is a wire frame original Elite version, the heart is a shrunk down ED universe Interceptor.

I have two like that, kinda. 1 has three gold stars under it (1st xeno defense

Ah, yes, it's the bubblehead. Think it's 1 heart and 10 Meta-Alloys. Sites I tried for the Meta-Alloys in WHN was destroyed, I had more luck in the Pleiades.
You're right, according to inara (not in game), 1 Heart, 10 Meta-Alloys. Not 20, my bad
[Edit: I found a few sites yielding 3 MA / relog, a 5, some with less. Most were destroyed.]

Not sure what has been done by others in this Raxxla search.
So I visited the only system mentioned in the Codex - Tau Ceti.
Followed the tourist beacons to a few other systems then pretty much ended up at the Requiem for Salome place.
Only thing I did notice is that the line took me all the way in the direction of Bernards Loop.
Probably meaningless.

Always hated that we were differentiated from the AI. Should all show the same on the scanner.....
The being allowed in at a lesser rank is interesring from the context of "the real dark wheel" or posibly finding the mystical station.
Interesting, hadn’t come across that vid before. Wonder how many more like that there are out there? I’ve watched all the dev diaries etc from the FD youtube website but not come across a hint of this vid.
He was talking of a test for the Elite Federation of Pilots from a combat focus, so it may well be there is a test which Combateers can be offered to join EPF, but I don’t think that is the Real Dark Wheel for the Raxxla Quest. From the Codex TRDW are a “legendary group of adventurers, explorers, investigators and treasure-hunters” rather than combateers, so I think their test will be offered to explorer-traders. I’m still working on building a relationship with a likely candidate (iaw my current hypothesis); think I may have failed the test first time around by taking a mission from another faction so I restarted, but haven’t been offered the Cr40M donation mission again-couldn’t accept it first time as I wasn’t Elite trader then. But the test may be buggy since there was one Cr1M donation mission I had the rank and funds for but couldn’t accept, also there were a couple of missions to retrieve items which were bugged as there were two instances of each when I landed at the planetary search zones.
I’m working on this hypothesis as my Tyko clone, but wondering if I have to bring Jorki back from Colonia to restart. Perhaps you only get one chance.......
