Don't need More Content we need existing content to be more ENGAGING and have some DEPTH.
- If i blow up 2 ships from a wing then the last wing member should sometimes escape and later on track me down with his big brothers, get a message saying "Remember me let's see what you got now".
That should be persistent if i jump to another system after a while they follow me.
- USS Spawns should be relevant to what i have on my ship, if i don't have fuel limpets then don't spawn me a uss with ships that have run out of fuel.
- If i have a mission to source 20 tonnes of cargo, then spawn me a USS that has a ship carrying that cargo with a couple of escorts.
- If i do a mission to deliver some cargo, dont give me a follow on mission to infiltrate a base installation, give me a mission to deliver some higher value cargo with more risks attached to it.
- Don't just give me mission to the next system, give me a mission top pick something up from somewhere take half of it to one station and half to another.
- If i have just jumped to a system to deliver something to a station, don't offer me a mission to take it somewhere else, for 1000 credits, because its a waste of my time, i can pick up a higher value mission when i dock for less work and more credits.
- If i accept a mission then update the mission board with relevant missions to what i'm doing.
In short make things seem like they are connected, not just one rng thing after another, that's what makes the game seem like theres no content
It's the same as a choose your own adventure book, how difficult is that to implement in this day and age?
A little intelligence and variety is all that's needed.
