No I didn't.
But surely the poster was claiming it being able to be done the way FD want the game played?
I already had two Cutters before Volyboom, I spent some of that money on a new Corvette to add to the existing one, two basic T-9's for hauling and mining and a fully kitted Chieftain for shenanigans to be later disclosed.
But yeah, if I, or anyone else wanted to buy a Cutter in about an hour, Volyboom was the easiest way to do it.
No I didn't.

No, he didn't claim that. He just told me that I and FDEV shouldn't care if people can buy a Cutter within an hour and that's why FDEV should reintroduce the exploits or give us an I-Win-Button that rewards us with unlimited credits.
I have enough of this nerf meta from FDev.. really, I'm just tired about this. AND I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks so.
SOMETHING HAS TO CHANGE, NOW!!!
The only answer to all "unplanned" things can't be to just put out the nerf hammer.
We need real solutions!
Listen, ALL ways where you can climb the grind-ladder faster, FDev nerf it.
-You can make faster money? nerf it.
-You can get faster reputation? nerf it.
-You can rank up fast at your power? nerf it. and so on. I guess you get it what I'm talking about.
The major issue with Elite is that your time you invest in this game is not worth it in comparison to the rewards you get.
And so I'm not surprised that the goldrush meta popped out. I can understand these people.
It makes me really happy, when I read posts/comments in forums where players made billions of credits in just few hours with the skimmer missions.
That's a big middle finger to FDev and their nerf meta.
I personally didn't take that chance. Unfortunately I was in Colonia.
TO ALL PEOPLE who might write/say:" Elite dangerous grind isn't that much, you can get anything fast and also have some fun".
Well..., let me say this to you all unemployed 24/7 players: ALOT of people have also a real life. When people came home from school, work or university, they want just relax and not get to their second job lol!!!! Because Elite grind feels like a second job. You CAN'T really relax.
We, the players, didn't do anything against this nerf meta, and so FDev think they can do anything but the forget that we, the players, made them what they are now. Means without us, the players, FDev is nothing!!
So hereby,
I invite all players to stop playing Elite,at least for a while. And take a pause.
FDev should realize that they exceeded a line we don't accept anymore!
Sounds like a great idea! Just to really drive the point home "we" should probably also stop posting in these forums too, right?
Yeah, that'll show 'em!
No, he didn't claim that. He just told me that I and FDEV shouldn't care if people can buy a Cutter within an hour and that's why FDEV should reintroduce the exploits or give us an I-Win-Button that rewards us with unlimited credits.
First, I never said I don't care. For someone who claims they don't care why call it an I-Win-Button?
If you want to grind a way fine grind, like you, I ain't bothered what or how you do it.
But I think you mis-understand, most people don't want a I-Win-Button, they want missions to reflect the effort, are not a repetitive grind and, since it is a game....fun.
FD instead seem to break what wasn't broken and instead of introduce new content make the current stuff more difficult, why exactly?
Isn't that their loss? How is their eroding of their ED experience in anyway affecting any of us and our enjoyment of the game? Your trade routes should be back now that FDEV have removed those missions right?
I keep seeing this tendency to worry way too much about "the other guy" all the time. What they have, how they got it, how it negatively impacts "their" long term ED experience.
WHO CARES?
I mean seriously. You reap what you sow. End of story.
Using similar logic why not just put a generate credits for nothing button in a station?
No-one is asking for that. Saying that is just a silly way of deflecting attention away from the real issue.
The missions were a result of edge cases of the PG and BGS systems coming together. It's Fdev's toybox and they can take bits of it away when they feel like it with or without justification.
It's opened up an interesting theme of discussion amongst all the hyperbole and melodrama, and a theme that's got the more prolific Youtubers talking. The same Youtubers who always cause Fdev to sit up and take notice whenever they're critical of the game.
Hopefully it will instigate some change. RNG needs to be seriously tweaked in favour of the players.
Which is that you can no longer earn 300 million credits per hour which is basically the same like a free credit button because it's more than the most expensive ship in game.
