Same here. It isn't as vibrant as I would have liked it to be...Whilst I like that green colour scheme, I might have to change it - I'm not diggin' how it looks in screen shots, particularly the darker ones.

Yeah, I've scraped along but I've also turned some things off to save power though. Like the AMFU and planetary hangar thing. That option is useful. No point in powering up an SRV if you aren't using it.Funnily enough, I didn't need more than grade 1 overcharged PPs, yet.
This isn't a bug or glitch, it is an actual feature that allows you to quickly see which planet you already have mapped. And on planets with bio- or geosigns, this turns into a heatmap of where you most likely will find the selected geological or biological features.I wish they'd fix the thing where you see wireframes for planets you've already scanned.
Aaaah, thanks. I like that. I've been scanning planets while approaching stations and checking if systems have Earth-like worlds at random, rather than going on big exploring missions. It can be a good money earner when you need to bribe or earn reputation with a minor faction in a system you're setting up home in. I just kept thinking it'd be really handy if you could easily identify planets you've scanned in order to save time. This isn't a bug or glitch, it is an actual feature that allows you to quickly see which planet you already have mapped. If you switch to combat mode, that map view goes away.
I've only read the premise of this and... well, like you, cynicism prevails. It sounds a bit like the original Predator - a bunch of humans being picked off by an alien lifeform.I like Elite Dangerous because it's science fiction. Which is probably why I was intrigued to see the Alien: Romulus teaser. I'm cautiously cynical but always hopeful for a good Alien sequel.
But that's a topic for another time and another thread.
I just like Elite Dangerous.

She's just frustrated because she can barely peek over the counter......as ever, the Vista clerk seems a bit underwhelmed? ;p
I like it best when it occurs during a power on mission. All the lockers and data points become empty. Such fun.I see we still have the infamous black screen on the SRV, I had to make a 1.5 click walk back to the ship, I did the bunny hop.![]()

I take it you are talking about a crash?I like it best when it occurs during a power on mission. All the lockers and data points become empty. Such fun.
Where you disembark the SRV and all you get is black screen and some mechanical clunking. You have to exit to the main menu and restart - hey presto, on foot but then you get the dearth of data, goods and assetsI take it you are talking about a crash?
Yes it does, but in super rough terrain it might land further away in some cases, so I just hoof it.Doesn't the Insight thingie have a recall ship button?
